Booked them or show up between 9am-10am-at 12:30 they finally arrived after multiple phone calls from myself and hire-a-helper. Once they got here things were great-they moved fast and didn't damage anything.

They were on time and careful with moving my furniture and other things. Also the two helpers they sent were very respectful and presentable and finished 20 min ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend them and will consider using them in the future!

Took advantage of the situation. Tried to assemble equipment they didn't have the skill set to do. Took me for 700.00 on a 321.00. Will never use the service again. Actually had to tell them to leave my house to stop them from charging

I hired a four man crew scheduled for 9-10am arrival, they called around 9 to let me know they couldn't get ahold of the driver of the crew so wouldn't be arriving until 11-12. I called back around 12:15 and was told that the crew was at another job about 45 miles away and that they had to drop something off on the way to my place but would be there in 30 minutes (?! not sure how?!). I wasn't sure why they were at another job first, but possibly a different crew. A couple of hours later the phone was going straight to voicemail and we hadn't heard anything so I was in the process of rescheduling with another company. We decided to wait it out a little longer because we really needed to move in that day. The crew themselves finally called and then showed up around 3:00 (only a three man crew rather than the four I hired). The crew was great and efficient, very nice and careful with our belongings. The owner never called back until the next day when he wanted his payment which I had to work out with hire a helper because of all of the issues. 6 hours late with me having to call to bug them was just not acceptable. I hired four men so my husband who has an injured knee wouldn't have to do the moving but he ended up starting without the movers and helped the whole time or it wouldn't have been done within the time frame. If they would have kept me updated and given me an honest answer from the start about when they would be able to come I would not be leaving a poor review, as the crew themselves were great.

I totally lucked out when I picked Best Deal movers! I looked at reviews and I was won by they way they responded to less than happy people (You can't please everyone, but they at least try). They seem to CARE and want the business! I could not be happier with the service! They are not afraid of hard work, and for as much as they did, I can honestly say, this was money WELL spent! The whole process was easy, both with Hire a helper and with Best Deal movers! I would recommend these folks to anyone I know who are looking for movers. They are Super guys! They came and worked VERY hard the whole time. They were friendly professional and hardworking. They took great care with my belongings and they were able to maneuver a sofa into a room that I thought would never make it (so they felt a whole lot like Miracle workers to me).
Did I mention that their personalities were super friendly and helpful? They were. I would not hesitate to call these guys again! I feel like I got a great deal for my money! Thanks again guys, you rock!

These guys are lifesavers. We had another company no-show on us, and hire-a-helper got Best Deal to spring into action. They were there within two hours (despite being based on the other side of Houston), and completed their work ahead of schedule. They were respectful of our property, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs quality movers in Houston.
