Thank you for your feedback, Marion. The movers actually weren’t late. This move was initially scheduled for a 9am start, and Marion, the client who left this review, called me late the night before the move asking to push back the time to 1pm because she had just been informed that she needed to drive 3 hours away to pick up her rental truck. I advised her that we did not have a crew available at 1pm, but could have one there “later in the afternoon,” and I could not specify a time. Marion agreed, and the movers arrived at 3pm. Marion is the one who needed to change the time last minute, and we bent over backwards to accommodate her, so I’m shocked she is accusing us of being late and leaving a negative review. Moreover, neither Marion nor her friend who was on site stated the trailer/RV needed to be loaded first. Obviously we would have had no problem loading the RV first, and if our loading the PODS first was incorrect, Marion or her friend could have simply said something, and we would have switched tasks immediately. The crew was tired from the first job, but the only reason this was an issue is Marion needed to switch the start time For this order at the very last minute. Again, we bent over backwards to accommodate her last minute request, and the best we could do was assign her a different crew who already had a difficult job scheduled in the morning. We had a full tool set. Her bed required a specialized tool we did not have, but we had dollies, a lifting harness, and a tool set, so it’s unclear how we lacked tools to “optimize the move.”
