Absolutely terrible experience - would not recommend. Three young men showed up (late), no tools, no dolly, no idea how to load a truck, didn’t know to shrink wrap, cover furniture, or use strapping. Several of the guys took 20-25 minute bathroom breaks (don’t even want to know what that was about). I have waited to review until I received my possessions at my new location. Luckily I had really knowledge unloaders, but it was a mess to unload. Huge dent in my 1 year old dryer, smashed boxes, gouges in wooden chairs, dirt stains on furniture that was not wrapped with moving blankets (which I had an abundance of). I could go on, but won’t.

On time and very professional. Excellent service! The only thing I'd recommend is not counting on their hand truck if you have any larger items (rent the appliance one with your moving truck rental).

Extremely punctual and worked very hard the entire time. I was quite surprised at their level of expertise as they navigated a very heavy, overstuffed, leather couch through a tight doorway in literally 5 minutes - a feat other professional movers had mangled in the past. That set the stage for the rest of the day. Also very personable and took direction well. I'm very pleased I went with Southern Hospitality Moving.

Our two helpers were on time, and very nice, polite and helpful. The reason I’m giving only four stars is that they were not experienced, professional movers, and needed help figuring out the best way to move the heavier items. They also brought no equipment. With some training and basic equipment for the job, they would have been perfect!

The crew arrived on time and ready to get to work. They stayed busy getting my things on and off the truck. Took the needed time to protect my things from damage that might have happened. I would recommend these guys to everyone.

Great guys! They were early, helped me with some assembly issues, taught me how to use my drill, moved my furniture and were so fast and efficient! Nice guys, helpful with great attitudes, would hire again!

I didn't want to leave this review and I gave Southern Hospitality a chance to make the situation right. The job was not done correctly and some of my items were ruined, in addition to the moving truck rental floor being stained beyond repair. First off, the website said I would need rope, plastic wrap and furniture pads for my move. I bought all of these. I then called the owner, Paul, to confirm the move and ask if I needed anything except those items. He confirmed I was good to go. I made a move across the country from SC to AZ. The men from Southern Hospitality showed on time and loaded the truck quickly. I tipped them $20 each assuming the job was done correctly. When I arrived in AZ, my family and I started unloading the truck. About halfway through, we started noticing dark spots on some of the boxes. We unloaded my treadmill to find the bottom of the truck had a huge dark stain on it and the treadmill was soaked. I finally figured out that a cart I had with dyes on it fell over during the trip. The cart was on wheels and I had put a plastic garbage bag over it. Turns out, Southern Hospitality didn't tie anything down, didn't use any of the furniture pads and didn't plastic wrap anything! It only took them a little over an hour to load. I paid for 2 hours. They had time to do the job right, and I would've paid for more if needed. How is that even possible for professional movers to NOT do?!?! Had the cart been tied down, it would not have fallen over and even though the dye lids were all tightly capped, being jostled for 2000 miles broke some of them open. We power washed the truck to no avail and tried to clean the treadmill as best we could. I also had to take the whole cart apart in the bath tub and individually clean all the parts and the dye bottles themselves. Huge mess. All and all, it took several hours to clean everything which was much longer than it took to load the truck. I contacted Southern Hospitality and was told they would pay for any bill I got from the rental company. I dropped the rental truck off at a home depot. I told the guy what happened, but he said they only check them in and out so he wasn't going to do anything about it. I never got a bill. A few weeks later, I went to put my treadmill together. When I stepped on it and stepped off, I had black dye all over my white floor and my feet were stained. There had been so much dye spilled on it and absorbed in the treadmill runner that it was still wet!! There was no way for me to get it out, so I had to hire a company to dispose of it. I contacted the company again and explained, again, what happened with the new development. I asked to be reimbursed for the cost to take the perfectly good treadmill (before the dye) away and the original cost I spent to get the truck loaded in the first place, including the tip, since the job was done very unprofessionally. I didn't ask for the cost of the treadmill or anything else that was ruined. I was trying to be reasonable. The treadmill was originally $1200. It was several years old, but everything worked like new. I had gone back and forth on whether to bring it or sell and decided to bring it. Anyway, I was told they would cover the cost to get rid of the treadmill and it would take 7-10 business days to be put back into my account. That was on September 29th. It is October 19th and I still haven't received it. I emailed them, again, asking them to reconsider refunding my originally amount to load the truck because it was done so poorly and ended up costing me money and time to fix it. I was told to give them some time to look into a solution. What time do you need? Either you will do the right thing or you won't. I didn't say that, though, because I was trying to be reasonable. I said that was fine. After not hearing from them a week, I emailed again to follow up. Nobody answered that email either. A few days after that, I emailed them saying if I didn't hear back, I would go to the BBB and leave an honest review of my whole experience. Guess what? They didn't even bother to answer me that time either. So, worst job I've ever hired anyone for and worst customer service I have ever experience. I have NEVER left a bad review for any business because I understand businesses have bad days, but I was dismissed by Southern Hospitality and never refunded the money they agreed to refund me. Money I had to shell out throwing away a treadmill worth a good amount of money because their team didn't do the job correctly.

They were on time. They did not come prepared with anything. They did not have any gloves, a dolly, and did not use my blankets to protect my wall. They were quick and were easily done within the two hours. I probably would not use this company again.
Chris L
They actually got to my house a little early, which was nice, since the last guys I hired were late. Both were super nice!!
Robert was very experienced, & I would use them again.
