The movers themselves did a good job loading things into our pod, however the office communication wasn’t horrible. I put in our notes when scheduling that we had already moved out of state and a friend would be supervising. I explained we found out we needed an extra pod last minute and couldn’t get it delivered until after our flight. The office called the night before they were scheduled to come, asking to do it early and I said no because our friend was unavailable in the AM. 1pm was the earliest they could come. Then they called the morning of to ask again. No again. Then the office told the guys they could show up between 12:30-1:30pm instead of 1-2pm. They came at 12:30 and had to wait around. They wanted to start the clock then and charge us for an “additional” half hour because loading the pod took the full 2 hours we booked. Our friend had to insist that since the office sent them early, despite me telling them 3 times that nobody could be there until the original scheduled time I reserved for this very reason, that we wouldn’t pay the “over time.” It was a lot of hassle and not fair to the movers themselves, who arrived early with no idea nobody would be there. They did their best and we were pleased with their work, but we wouldn’t use this company again.

The movers were right on time and extremely prepared to get started. We live on the 2nd floor of our apartment building and were so amazed at how fast and carefully they maneuvered our furniture down the stairs. They packed our POD container so well! Everything was perfectly "tetrised" in place and they tied up each row to prevent anything from moving. I recommend anyone moving with a POD container to hire this team! They were absolutely incredible!

First of all, I have no issue with the movers themselves. They got right to work and did a great job, although they did arrive outside their quoted time. I do, however, have issue with the management of this company. To book Rigo's you must do 2 helpers for a minimum of 2 hours. I suspected my job would take 3 hours, so that is what I quoted because I wanted to provide Rigo's with an accurate time so they can plan their schedule accordingly. The move took about 1 hour and 45 minutes. I was told by one of the movers when I signed a form that I would be charged for the 2 hours, not the 3 I originally quoted. When I received my invoice from Hire a Helper, I saw I had been charged for 3 hours of labor. I called to see if I could be refunded for that third hour. Hire a Helper called Rigo's and they said they would not. I called them directly. The lady I spoke to on the phone was not helpful and was quite difficult. She refused to refund me the third hour of labor because she said they had to pay the movers for the full 3 hours (despite the fact they were done with the job in 1 hour and 45 minutes). I asked to speak with her superior, who is the owner, and she said he does not speak with customers. She eventually offered to write me a $50 check, which isn't even the cost of the labor for 1 hour for 2 movers. I said she can write it, but I would still leave an honest review online. She then said they would not send me the check and she hung up on me. So, if you chose to book Rigo's for some reason, only say your job is 2 hours, even if you think it will be 5 hours. Otherwise, you will be charged for whatever you quote, no matter how quickly the movers are, and you will not be given any sympathy when you try to get your money back for unused time.

These guys were lifesavers! They were quick, hard working, and professional. They literally went above and beyond which lead to a stress free move for us. We were/ are extremely happy and impressed with their services. Could not recommend them more to anyone that needs assistance moving. I would absolutely hire them again without hesitation.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Our customers can expect a well prepared crew with all the materials needed for their move. They can also expect to be stress free during their move because of how reliable our movers are.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Customers should prepare for the day of the move depending on what services they get/want. We reccomend that clients remove clothing from drawers, wardrobes, etc, to make the items less heavy for our movers. Always label your boxes. We also recommend to speak with our project manager about materials needed for the job to have them ready for the day of the move. Lastly, feel free to ask questions with our project manager about any concerns to be informed on what to do the day of the move.

Our favorite part of being a mover is seeing the relief on our clients face after getting the job done. We love being able to make our clients move stress free as much as possible.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We provide all of our employees with a one month training program at our head quarters to help them gain experience by teaching them good communication skills, how to pack fragile items into boxes, move heavy items using the proper equipment, stack the trucks or containers using every inch of space, etc.
