Given the positive reviews on Hire a Helper, we were so surprised by our experience with Full House Family Moving. We communicated the size of our apartment, the number of large furniture items, and the distance between our container and apartment beforehand. The movers arrived on time but did not come prepared (e.g., dolly, hand cart). Fortunately, we had a single furniture dolly in our container for their use. When asked, they explained to us that their boss did not provide them with these items even though they agreed it was necessary for the job, and that this is an ongoing issue that other customers have complained about. Thus, they had to move all boxes individually, which significantly slowed them down. I called the owner to discuss the issue while the movers were on site, but they did not answer or return my calls. Having moved three times in the past three years, I have yet to hire a moving company that did not arrive prepared to a job, or unable to complete a job. My recommendation would be to ask about preparedness beforehand to ensure that the movers arrive with everything they need. Otherwise, you may wish to rent a handcart for their use beforehand.

Amazing job, the two helpers were very professional. They were on time, very polite and careful, fast and were wearing masks the whole time. They carefully followed all the instructions we gave them and they finished early

They were awesome - definitely hire. They showed up on time, were super nice, were mindful of the time and how best to use their time to be helpful to us. Also, their prices are affordable. Very careful with our items and helped us with a door removal to get our washer and dryer in the right location.
They clearly are also thoughtful on how they send their employees to jobs. They paired a very experienced mover with a newer employee who was guiding him through some of the best practices.

We will call you the day of the move and keep in contact with you through out the day. We will swiftly and carefully move all your belongings. We will be polite, respectful, and honest.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
You should have everything already boxed. Unless you need help with disassembly, everything should be disassembled with all the matching pieces secured with the item. You should pick up your moving truck prior to your scheduled start time with us.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done small and large houses in MA, RI, NH and ME We have moved offices, hospital equipment, and carried, set up and broke down equipment for several production companies including the Boston Red Sox.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I enjoy working with the public and making the hard task of moving easier.

Our crew members watch training videos, spend time with each of our crew members and get on the job training.
