They were on time and called before arriving. They had all the equipment they needed.The two guys were friendly and humorous. They moved fast, maybe just a little too fast. We hired them for 2 hours and they completed the job in 40 minutes. They did not secure a desk chair to our satisfaction and we had to tie it down more securely. They also piled several very heavy boxes in an upholstered chair. Other than that they did a fairly good job. I probably would recommend them, but pay a little more attention to how they packed some items.

I've moved numerous times through the years, some were paid moves as a result of work, and others were on my own. I've hired notably good moving companies with good ratings and had good & bad luck. Trust me, quality experienced movers don't always show up. The 2 movers I just had through "Family Movers" (Billy & his partner) were probably two of the best movers that I've experienced over the course of 30 years, which involved at least 7 paid moves. The price was very competitive, in fact it was the best price against 3 other competitors. Both movers were on time, knew exactly what to do and how to do it. Their experience was immediately very obvious and their concern with doing it the right way was exceptional.

What types of moves have you handled?
We are both labor and full service, for commercial, and residential. We also work for a Restoration company. We do a lot of Fire, Water, Mold where we clear out effected homes, then when the work in the home is done, we move it all back in. And set things back up.

The people you meet and the stories they share.

Basic lifting techniques, communication between Movers, proper packing and padding techniques...
