So I'm really unsure what happened. My move was scheduled for 2pm and I verbally discussed with the movers that they would be coming around 1:30pm a few weeks prior to my move. However, on the day of my move, 1:30pm came and went & I gave them a call around 3pm to ask for a status update. I figured they had run late on a previous job (totally understandable!). Instead they were 2 hours away from me and per our phone conversation "received a cancellation for my job from HireAHelper", despite me receiving a text from HireAHelper that day. He hung up, called HireAHelper (so I was told) and then called back to confirm that there was a mix up and that they could come that evening around 8pm after they finished their current job, which was fine with me. He stated they would call me when they left that job (so around 6pm since they were 2 hours away). So around 7pm with no phone call to me and after I tried to call the movers twice, I called HireAHelper, who said they had no record of a cancellation and no record of a phone call that afternoon. They tried to call the movers also with no luck. So they called me a replacement and we cancelled this moving company. They eventually called me around 8:30pm to say they were on there way (30 minutes after their job was cancelled) & said they were in the trailer and didn't have phone service during that time.
In summary, I'm really not sure if it was the movers fault or HireAHelper, but I know that I turned my keys in late to my apartment complex because I tried to use this service. It was two of the most stressful days of my life (my mom was here to supervise because I was working, I had to get her a hotel and she stayed late in my apartment to clean and I still wasn't out in time).

Tony and Marcus came to 416 Knoll Circle on Wednesday, Nov. 26 to unload our 2 pods. The weather was not the most pleasant, raining in slight to moderate to somewhat heavy pourings throughout the morning. They were scheduled to work 4 hours. They arrived at 8:00 am and were finished shortly after 11:00 am! They were diligent, never complained about the weather, took the same care when they loaded the pods in unloading our furniture and placing it exactly as we needed. Again, I could not have been more pleased with the process and with their help. I highly recommend Miscellaneous Plus, Hire-A-Helper and would strongly recommend asking for Tony and Marcus! The best! Thanks again for making a stressful time so much easier to bear.

My helpers for today were Tony and Marcus. They were scheduled to be here at 10:00 am and they arrived at 9:45 am. They were courteous, they were professional, they were personable, they were GREAT! They helped us when we ran short of pads and had to go get some more. They had excellent knowledge of how best to pack all items. They took extreme care of all of our furniture pieces. They were so good to us when we kept finding items that needed to be packed! I was more taken, though, with the care that they took to be sure we were comfortable with what they were doing. They kept reassuring us that they were going to have enough room, and they did help us to understand that they could not, in their best conscience, pack any more than would b safe for our furniture. I could not have been more pleased and relieved with the packing/moving process. They let us know that they would be the ones to help unload our pods on Wednesday, and that gave me even more reassurance that our furniture would be well taken care of. My hat goes off to Tony and Marcus! Looking forward to seeing them again on Wednesday!

They moved the stuff quickly, efficiently, and protected furniture with plastic wrap when it was big enough to be hard to get through the door. A desk that took furniture store delivery people 20 minutes to deliver a few years ago, these guys had out of the house in 5 minutes, yet with no haste or risk of damaging it. Top notch.

I hired Miscellaneous Plus, Inc to help me load my Pod. I would definitely use them again. They arrived a bit early, worked extremely hard and quick and were super nice. I hired them for 2 hours and we were almost done within 1 hour, which really surprised me. They took great care of my things.

Tony and Walter were fantastic. They looked over the job carrefully and then worked without a break until all was loaded into the pod.
They were well-dressed, polite, cheerful, and helpful to us when were uncertain about something.
