These guys were absolutely great. They did an excellent job of protecting our property (we, of course, provided the moving blankets and bubble wrap) but they made sure that it was completely covered and handled it with great care. in spite of having to move the furniture and boxed items half a block to the PODS, they finished the job in just a little over the contract time. We were very pleased with this moving solution and would recommend it to al who cannot (for one reason or another) do it for themselves.

I was so grateful for MD Expert Movers unpacking our truck to place our things throughout our 3-story house. While some of the walls did get a little scuffed, they placed our furniture and boxes from a 26ft truck into all the appropriate rooms in a little over an hour. I paid for two guys and we received three, which made the work faster. I appreciated their courtesy and efficiency. They arrived on time, worked hard, and made our unpacking a lot less painless. The movers arrived on time and immediately scoped out the requirements for the job and got their materials ready. Very careless with furniture. Didn’t protect anything properly. Wrapping and blankets came off as they moved stuff from the house to the truck. Piled stuff on the driveway and in the street on a very windy day. Furniture blew over and got damaged by the concrete street. I’m dreading the damage that I find when I get to my new place and start unpacking. I would not recommend them at all.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though.
