They were on time and were able to stick around past the 2 hours originally booked to finish the job. They worked reasonably efficiently and were careful with our future and boxed items.

Hello. First, we want to express appreciation for the hard work our 3-man crew did last Thursday. Second, we were less than pleased in the "expertise" shown in packing up a POD. Everything you find about packing a POD is to load largest items first, and all boxes last. Our crew didn't follow this standard guideline. They did all the boxes (lots of them) first, then did furniture by room, leaving rather large bulky items to last. In the end, they ran out of room before they finished the job. We were left to renting a storage unit for a small refrigerator, a folded up ping pong table, two counter stools and all tools you would generally find in a garage. Next came the call to our Movers to ask if they could do two stops --- 1 to a storage facility and one to the apartment. Yes, they could! Great, but then this turned their scheduled truck into too small. Now, we needed to rent a truck to add more things to the storage unit. ALL BECAUSE our POD was packed illogically!!!!

I originally requested 2 people for 3 hours, then on the day to pack the truck asked for a 3rd person. They accommodated me with no problem. They were on time, wrapped all my furniture (which is very large and heavy) and worked sooo hard. They were very nice and were able to get the job done in the 3 hours. Thank you Paris and crew!!!

They were on their phone and standing g around talking. One of the men kept dozing off. As I was talking with one of the men. He told me he doesn’t do this. He was asked by a friend to help for the day. I will say that they didn’t damage any items. My husband actually had to help them pack the POD so that we can get all of our items in the POD. I was told when I booked the service that they were sending helpers that specialized in putting times in the POD. If they weren’t almi g or text I go. Their phones and nodding out I probably would not had to pay any extra money. Needless to say, I will not be using the service anymore. There were dry unprofessional and to find out that they actually just asked a friend to help that wasn’t an actual mover is really disturbing. I am very upset that I paid extra but didn’t want to argue. I will just find someone e to move my items out of the POD into my new home.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though. Is your company moving to a new building? Switching floors in your current space? Do you need someone to finally get that old copier down to the basement? Hauling junk? We can help!
