Ron and crew worked very hard and were very knowledgeable on how to properly wrap/pack household goods. They flexed and we’re able to stay an additional two hours to get the job done.

The crew was on time and called 45 minutes prior to arrival. They wrapped all furniture and moved everything without scratches, breaks or dents. The crew was asked to stay an hour and a half later than expected and it was not an issue. The entire crew was very polite and curteous. I highly recommend MD movers. You will be satisfied with their service.

Everyone at MD Expert Movers was amazing. They easily facilitated every aspect of my move so that it went smoothly and quickly. Moving can be such a headache but with MD Expert Movers it was a breeze. They were on time, prepared for the job, worked extremely hard, and treated all of my belongings with care. They took two hours longer than expected, and spent a lot of that time standing around or chatting on their cell phones. We bought a bunch of furniture pads for them to use, but they left a lot of the furniture unprotected (including bare wood on wood) and threw at least ten unused pads in the storage pod at the end. The guys who unloaded it were amazed at the poor loading job, and said they could have done it in half the time.

They were very polite and fast. They took the time to wrap many pieces of furniture. And they took apart some of the furniture as well. But I had some issues. They dropped a box, and a neighbor heard it and told us. The movers did not let us know. They broke a lamp in packing up the truck. When we arrived we found more issues. A box that was marked as fragile was at the bottom of a heavy stack of boxes. I have no idea where the nuts and bolts are for the items that were taken apart. A lamp base was broken to the point the lamp would not stand up straight. My dining room table they dragged on one edge and I will have to have it refinished. A tv was propped against a box where the corner of the box was pressing on the flat screen. Two small shelving units were placed on the bottom of a heavy stack of boxes, they broke to the point I had to throw them out. A white cabinet that was not wrapped was scuffed and paint was transferred. I have used these types of services quite a few times with great success, so this was incredibly disappointing.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though.
