The two gentlemen who showed up were extremely polite and professional. After explaining everything I needed done and how I wanted everything they worked quickly and efficiently and managed to do what I thought was impossible in the time I had allotted for my move. They packed my pod perfectly from floor to ceiling using every inch of space available without damaging anything. They even went beyond and wrapped things I didn’t even think needed to be wrapped just for my own protection. I would use again and will recommend to anyone I know in need of affordable moving services.

The crew was on time and worked several hours longer than originally planned. They were good humored and did an excellent job packing my container. It seemed that they took every care in packing my goods to prevent damage. I will certainly use them again as this was part 1 of two parts of my upcoming move.

Ron and his team were awesome! They arrived on time and were polite and courteous. They took special care to not damage the floors and furniture which is greatly appreciated. They set up several pieces of furniture and I couldn’t be more pleased. I would totally recommend these guys to anyone needing movers!

I would give two and a half stars, because I'm impartial. The movers were on time. They were nice enough, but not equipped with the necessary tools and supplies. I had mentioned when I placed the order that the feet of my couch needs to be removed to fit through the door. They tried to force the couch through the door. But ended up taking the feet off manually. Evidently, the company does not provide electric hand tools. Ultimately, I missed my POD pickup. The next available pickup was 12 days later. Thankfully, the POD driver made arrangements to pick my POD up the next morning. The senior mover mentioned I needed 3 men. Maybe MD Expert Movers can do like other moving companies and do a walk-through estimate. I choose them because I wanted professional movers. To a certain degree, I received that, but there were issues. I believe and hope they did a good job, but now I feel it necessary to to check my belongings out. I would most likely not use them again.

We had a hard time communicating with 3 out of 4 movers due to language barrier. Our dresser and 3 book shelves were damaged when they carelessly brought them into our home. We did our best to direct them to where we wanted boxes and furniture to go, but with the limited English things were not placed appropriately. Our walls were also scratched, scuffed, and dented by the recklessness of them handling our furniture. I would not use them again!

JP & Ron were on time, courteous and respectful of our furniture and possessions. They worked steadily and explained what they were doing (i.e., how they were wrapping/protecting the furniture, stacking/loading the container), never hesitating to ask questions about our preferences. We have a dog and they were very careful and kind around her. Despite it being a holiday, they didn't rush the job and even stayed a bit longer to load a few last minute items. I'd recommend them and I'd use them again.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though.
