The first team was not the right team for the job, so immediately the guy in charge called and was able to reassign the team. The 2nd team that came to help us unload was the A-team. They were professional, courteous, timely, and worked quickly and efficiently. We had a lot of large, heavy items that needed to be moved up multiple flights of stairs. Great job!

They arrived on time, came prepared with rope and plastic wrap, worked hard and got the job (loading only) done in exactly 2 hours. We never would have been able to fit everything into the 20-foot truck by ourselves but these movers were experienced and fit everything with feet to spare, saving us the money we would have spent renting a larger truck. They were careful with our belongings and made sure everything was wrapped in blankets, plastic, etc. to protect it. I had never hired movers before but it was well worth the satisfaction of being able to sit and just watch the process instead of getting sweaty and exhausted.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though. Is your company moving to a new building? Switching floors in your current space? Do you need someone to finally get that old copier down to the basement? Hauling junk? We can help!
