We hired 2 men at MD Expert Movers for 2 hours on a Saturday to help unload a POD unit at our home. They were about 45 minutes early, but called when they got here to ask if they wanted us to start now or wait until the time expected. They were very respectful and courteous, both of our belongings, instructions and us. They worked very hard and finished earlier than the 2 hours we hired them for (and we had a LOT of stuff!). I would use them again and recommend them in the future.

A couple of valuable items were broken because of where they were placed on the truck. The reason for this was poor judgement and inability to listen to instructions. I am extremely disappointed and will NEVER use this service or recommend it to anyone who has valuable belongings. If you own cheap furniture that means nothing to you, this is the service for you. BTW, get all the insurance you can if you use this company.

Pierre and his team were great. They were scheduled at 9 AM and got there at 8:45. They were fast, respctuful of me and my property. They loaded my PODs unit skillfully and I could tell they we're very experienced with what they were doing. They made this a wonderful moving experience and I highly recommend them.

Both of the gentlemen packed my POD like they were doing for their own house. They were able to allow me to load additonal items that I didn't think would fit in this trip. They came prepared with shrink wrap and tools to help properly secure items. Over all I would hire them in a heart beat again.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though. Is your company moving to a new building? Switching floors in your current space? Do you need someone to finally get that old copier down to the basement? Hauling junk? We can help!
