These two guys that came to help me pack up were great. They came early. They were prepared for the job, worked hard and were respectful. They bubble wrapped my furniture and packed all of my apartment on to the truck in less than two hours. They also packed everything securely - which was important as I was taking the truck from Maryland to the mid west. I would use them again. I highly recommend this company.

We hired two workers for 6 hours to help us pack the day before the moving truck arrived. They were timely, well prepared, efficient and highly professional. I had used them a month or two ago to load a pod for me, and I would use them again without question or reservation.

The two guys from MD expert movers carried everything out very quickly and expertly packed it in the POD. They were fast but very careful with everything -- overall awesome. Highly recommended!!!!

Unfortunately had some disappointments with the movers: they did not use rope tie downs to secure the middle sections of the PODS, only the final section; they also moved a wooden chest and scraped it on brick walkway and placed on lawn before pad wrapping in the storage unit, also ended up using my personal hand truck to move boxes and material. It looked like one of the two movers was inexperienced. On the positive side they were on time and courteous.

When customers offer their own materials for use we assume it's because they would like our team to use them. We apologize for any misunderstanding. Skilled labor takes hard work and plenty of training. The crew that loaded my items in the POD were great! They arrived early and were very prepared. They wrapped items that I had not done and finished putting covers on the mattresses. I just got a new job and couldn't take time off to move so my parents came up to do it for me. I was really worried because my parents are Southern and elderly and I didn't want to movers to be rude or take advantage of them (make them do some of the moving). To my delight, however, the movers were amazing! My parents loved them and raved about how great they were. They stayed longer than I had them booked, didn't let my parents lift a thing, and were very polite. My mom made me promise to write a good review for them on here :)

I used MD EXpert Movers twice in the last 2 months. The first time Dominique and crew were great. The second time I had Dominique and a different crew and it was going well until the end when Dominique told me they could not take my washer to the top floor and that I needed to call for a heavy item move and pay $275. I told him my washer is a standard washer and this can't be the first time they had to take one upstairs. He tried to say my washer was extra heavy and I know it isn't. One of the other workers wasn't feeling well he kept having to sit down and was sweating heavily and I constantly gave him water. It is my belief that because the worker was sick and couldn't do the job; that is why my washer was left in the basement instead of where it needed to be. I was not happy at all with the service and besides all that; I still had to pay someone to get my washer moved. For this reason; I will not use this company again.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though.
