Great job by this company! The movers were excellent and did everything on time. Very professional, kind and took care of everything requested. Will hire them again in future.

Richard and Aaron showed up on time and started right away. They did a great job. I live alone so this was perfect for me. They did all the heavy lifting and packed the container until it was full. I will use this service again on the other end of my move.

This was the first time I have used a moving company. These guys worked extra hard, it was hot and they had to move everything to the 4th floor - with no elevator! They were very polite and friendly. They arrived within the specified time and took care with our belongings. I would definitely use them again. I spoke to their office a couple times prior to the move to discuss my order and for confirmation. They really made me feel at ease. I'm grateful for how smooth they made our move!

The crew arrived early, over an hour early. They began packing the truck without any planning. They placed boxes every which way. My husband made them unload the truck and start again, giving them directions as they went along. They spent most of the time staying in the air conditioned house taking apart furniture and wrapping it. Some items should never had been taken apart. They loaded many of my pieces upside down causing damage to the tops. They wrapped the Tv stand, then turned it upside down causing the shelves to come crashing down. They weren't concerned about it. They should have checked it before wrapping it. They damaged my China cabinet doors by wrapping them together with the latch sticking into the front of the other door causing scratches. They weren't good with heavy pieces. They damaged the door frames, banister, walls, and gouged the floor. My refrigerator had dents and scratches. One of the crew was rude to my daughter and had I known I would have fired them on the spot. We gave them a cooler of water all day and fed them lunch. I wouldn't use them to move tissue boxes.

They actually showed up an hour early but said that they would wait if we were not ready. We were ready so they immediately took a quick tour of what we had ready to be loaded into a 16 ft Pod. They worked non stop for the next four hours and loaded much more that we thought could fit into the Pod. They were very careful with all the furniture that they loaded and gave helpful suggestions for our next move on Aug. 9, 2016. They were so good that I amended our Order and requested that the same crew return to load our 2nd Pod on the Aug. 9th.

Antoine and Jay were superb--on time, prepared with blankets and other supplies, hard-working, super-polite, upbeat, friendly, and careful with my belongings. My mother, who was visiting, was treated with incredible respect. We gave both of our HireAHelpers big tips--they earned them. I moving again, we would request them and would use Q's Moving again. Friendly, expert help with even the most fragile of my possessions and delicate furniture. THANK YOU FOR MAKING MOVING--yes--FUN!

They arrived early which was great. But they didn't cover the furniture when they put it on the dolly and one of our dressers got scratched up pretty badly. We now have to file a claim to get it fixed. They also seemed to be rushing, even though we paid for a minimum of two hours and they were only there an hour and fifteen minutes. I had high hopes but was disappointed.

The first thing that struck me was how unprofessional the crew was despite our welcoming efforts. We had an in home estimate with this company for partial packing of large furniture and loading and thank God most of my things were packed by me otherwise nothing would've made it across the country. When they really rebelled was when they saw they had to disassemble a king bed frame that didn't fit through the stairs. They plainly said they "were not going to do it" first because they didn't have the tools, when I got the tools from a neighbor it was because they "couldn't dissassamble a custom made furniture" and they really put their foot down. When I said I was not leaving the bed behind they told me to "call the company that made it so they would come and disassemble it themselves"... I told them that was not an option and to give us a different solution at which point they said the solution was to "cut the bed in half". This whole thing was while mumbling under their breaths how they hated their job and didn't get tipped sometimes, walking away from me when I followed them into different rooms to continue the conversation and just presenting themselves visibly upset. When I saw they were not being reasonable I called the company and I have to say the person on the phone was very nice and solution oriented. She said she would call them and talk to them. I had to chase them around and say "Please pick up the phone because your company is calling you" because they knew I had called the company and were trying to ignore the phone. She called me back and asked me if I was willing to sign a waiver for any damage to the bed and I said of course! When I told them this they said they had to want to sign the waiver! So I went upstairs and started disabling the bed myself. By the time they came in about 15 mins later the bed was 80% done and I allowed them to take over the 5 screws that remained. I had three crew members but one was nowhere to be seen half of the time and as far as I'm concerned the move was inside the home. He was the main author of all that fuss. After this I guess they were too angry to do their job right and loaded to pieces of furniture unwrapped with the furniture pads we had bought thrown on the floor next to them. When I asked them why those two pieces were not wrapped they said they "promised" they would do it outside before loading them but they did not deliver. I bought plenty furniture pads for the large furniture specially the living room set but they only used them in half the 3 piece sofa and only put a couple of layers of plastic wrap in the other half of the same piece so the leather was torn in that unprotected armrest by the time it got here. On top of that there were several parts of the leather that had burnt holes in them! I think it was the heat and the plastic. I couldn't argue with them anymore because I already knew they were not reasonable and had to suck it up and know that I had made a bad choice. The guys that unloaded the trailer in my new home called me and told me the people that loaded my truck didn't do a good job and they just wanted me to see the boxes and the furniture were not properly secured and had moved around a lot. My neighbors else told me they saw them literally throwing things inside the trailer... What can I say? I was expecting professionals and did not get them.
