Tips To Save

Move on a Weekday

Movers are typically fresher, cheaper, and far more available on weekdays versus weekends. This goes double during the busy summer season!

Early Moves = Fresh Legs

The earlier in the day you schedule your move, the more likely your movers will be fresh-legged and even zippier with your stuff!

Pack Your Own Stuff

Plenty of movers can and will pack your items for you. (Just ask!) This, however, takes a lot of time. Having your boxes taped and ready can literally save you hundreds of $$$.

PODS Review

PODS were right on schedule with everything and kept us updated on delivery and pickup schedules. They even provided great suggestions for companies to load and unload the POD.

We had a great experience with UPacks Relocube service. We used two cubes for our move. The scheduling was easy and communication was clear. The drivers who delivered and picked up the cubes on both ends of our cross-country move were friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

Budget Truck Review
(4 out of 5 rating)

Unfortunately all of the 16' and similar size trucks had been rented from the rental companies before we could schedule. We snagged one of the few 12' trucks left and made some compromises. It worked fine and had no problems except limited cab room meant reclining the seats was far too limited and just wish they would ditch the low rear step and install an 8' ramp.
