Drivers were competent and professional. Dispatcher in St Louis missed the delivery window

I have always used this service as they are the most cost effective way of moving your goods bar none. Do not hesitate in using this service along with Hire a Helper as you will not believe how easy and cost effective moving a home is.

Phone interface was difficult

Trailer arrived on time. Driver was professional. Honest and reasonable. Better than using moving brokers.

However they reimbursed me $750 for the fee to reschedule our laborers at the destination location and for additional expenses and hardship for not having our items for an extra 3 days. The other reason for 4 stars was that even though I called as directed, the destination location was not ready for us to unload on time and we had to wait an extra hour, with the laborers to help us unload being on the clock during that time. One nice feature is being able to have some tracking information for your trailer, as you can look on their site or call to have them tell you where and when the trailer last checked in.

This is SO the way to go out of state/ cross country! They quoted a rate and I paid by the foot. Did not have to know how much truck I needed. Drivers I met had 40 years, ABF 35 years with ABF, and 22 years. Great people. Great customer service for call ins. Dashboard, customized moving plan with process steps and how to. BEST price. EASY, NO STRESS!

ABF UPack Freight was exactly what I needed for my move. It gave me the option of adding more space to the truck, if needed. They dropped off the trailer within the specified window of time and picked up the trailer when requested. Because it was a holiday weekend, they allowed more time for unloading.

This was an incredible and flexible option. If I had hired help to load it from the start, this move would have been half as frustrating. If doing a DITY/PPM, easy to make weight and make that reimbursement worth the hassle. Super communicative and flexible for military moves.

2nd move with ABF and always so great

This is my second move with U-Pack. They are a no nonsense company that simplifies moving without going with a major moving company. I wish I had known that a second truck would be cheaper than the first on a total dollar basis. Now I know.

This was a great option for us as we needed the flexibility in time. It worked out a lot cheaper than a full service moving company.

1/2 the cost of pods and actual customer service.

Even though this is more economical, I would not use this service again because I discovered the trailers are old and very unstable. I was told one trailer would be enough for my home furnishing, it was not. We have much more items we will be moving using another company. However, the website is very easy to use and changing the dates of my move was very easy online.

I never use any company but upack. They have the most fair pricing, they're always honest, and, on time.

They are friendly and good service only the time management issue they have.

The transport company ABF I would highly recommend. They were on time and delivered to our new address as promised. They were also on time to pick up the trailer when we moved our things out of it. Great work.

My UPack Trailer experience was seamless! I appreciated most the provision of instructions - email and printed - on how to use the varied parts of the trailer. I felt that my items were safe and protected with the layers of separation walls and locks. I also liked the option to upgrade my service to guaranteed delivery. My trailer arrived on the date scheduled and was picked up in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this option for anyone relocating across state lines. It was so much more convenient to use a trailer than pods, which allowed me to use as much space as my belongings needed, and only be charged for the space used. Because I used less space than anticipated, my actual charge was less than my original quote.

We rented 2 trailers to go from Portland OR to Atlanta GA. I would have liked to have given an excellent review, but the 2nd trailer had holes in its ceiling and, unfortunately, there was a storm the night before it was unloaded. As a result, a couple of boxes with some expensive books and their sleeves were badly damaged. Mostly, everything went smoothly from delivery to pick up of the trailers. However, I think ABF should notify the customer when a trailer has arrived at destination. I had to call to find out if they had arrived only to be told that I only had a few days to have it delivered to my house so it could be unloaded before I would have to start paying storage charges. Since I didn't know the exact date when the trailers would arrive, it was difficult to arrange unloading. I had to kind of scramble to make arrangements, making it stressful. ABF personnel (especially their drivers) are very polite, patient and very helpful.

UPack is a cost effective transportation company. Very professional, accommodative and flexible. If you move frequently then UPack is the best choice otherwise you need better alternative. No temperature control and no suspensions makes it easy to move only for professionals or frequent movers who has more knowledge on do's and dont's during move.

Great company and process

I was using the vendor to unload and pack my storage. The team knew how to pack nice and tight! Courteous and respectful and on time. They also assisted with getting the U-pack delivery parked. Big help!

Partitions are old school very bulky and to heavy to handle maybe think about a lighter construction. Partitions and ramp are to heavy for one person to handle and occupy a large bit of floor space.

ABF was great. The companies in both locations were helpful, on-time, and communicative.

Working with the Freight Company both at Pick Up and delivery went very smooth. Great Job to all!
