The team of two arrived in their own car and 25 minutes early. The early arrival was not a problem and we began work right away. They worked hard under my direction. I did not realize for a few minutes that they hadn't received the previous instructions regarding the goals of the job (which was to focus on the heaviest items and save the other items for last.) Once we were on the same page the work went well. They were respectful of the house and the goods. When they discovered any damage from inside the moving container they contacted me before trying to move it. They had some tools which were helpful for important assembly that was required. Overall they were good workers and I would use them again.

We had a great experience with hireahelper! We needed last minute help unloading a full 20” truck and they responded immediately and were very flexible. Matt and Tyler waited for us to arrive late with the truck and got to work right away. We worked for 2.5 hours straight carrying everything up to the third floor. They were patient and respectful of our things and kept up their strength and energy the whole time. We couldn’t have done it without them! Matt and Tyler were great! I highly recommend.

I hired Handy Hands Labor to help unload my truck into my new apartment, which was on the second floor of a two family house today. The two guys arrived on time and were wonderful and professional! They had to unload my packed 20’ Uhual truck and carry my furniture and bins and boxes up turning steep steps to get from the street to the house and then go up a narrow steep set of stairs to my new apt! It started to rain and I got a call from Marshall to check if I wanted them to keep working thru the rain (showed concern for my things getting wet) and once I gave the go ahead, they continued to work. It went a little over the scheduled 2 hours that I hired them for, but considering how hard they worked and how much furniture and boxes they had to bring up, I was not complaining for the overage!! I would definitely use them in the future, but next time I will pay for a little more time upfront so i don’t have to worry about paying for more time at the end!! I’m a pack rat who had a LOT of stuff and should have made it for 3 hours instead of just 2!! All worked out as they stayed about 20 mins past the 2 hour mark, but I had to pay for a full hour! The stairs and rain definitely affected the timeline!!! Lesson learned... always check the weather!!! Mother Nature can really mess up your move!!! Big THANK YOU to Handy Hands for being polite and helpful during a stressful move!!!

There was a misunderstanding, they did not have the tools needed to do their job. I communicated they needed a dolly and straps. Ended up taking an hour longer due to the wait for tools which never came.

These guys were incredible!! They were so efficient, kind, and organized. Made our move extremely easy! They helped disassemble and wrap our furniture too! Highly recommend!
