I prepaid for 2 hours initially because that is what it normally has taken in previous moving times However, the "team" that I hired took FOUR HOURS to load up a one-bedroom apartment. There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON why it should take 4 hours to move a one-bedroom apartment.
Initially, they showed up late but I let that go since I was having some trouble picking up the truck. When the movers showed up, it was a man and a woman. Although I fully believe in equal opportunity, when I am paying somebody to complete a task by the hour, I expect it to be done professionally and swiftly. The woman was picking up one bag at a time, she came with her purse and would not put it down, and she was not dressed to move. They were careless with my boxes and stacked them with the heaviest on the top. There were several times when I had to go downstairs and suggest they not have my breakable items on top of other items and boxes. Each time a box was taken downstairs, she would act as if she was playing Tetris and take her time figuring out where the next box would go. Each time a box was taken downstairs and into the truck, it would take a minimum of 10 minutes for them to come back up and grab the next item. Ideally, I would like to be contacted and compensated for the trouble and inconvenience this has caused.
Our records show that after the initial call on the morning of your scheduled move you called in after the movers had already made it to the location to state that you had trouble with your rental truck; and requested to move the time to 1-2pm; after the request was denied you insisted the movers wait in the area until your issue with the rental truck was resolved; the movers patiently waited one hour at the location until your arrival; Once arrived the movers immediately began loading your items.
About one hour into your service; Our records show the crew took a break to allow a storm to pass; Once the rain stopped the crew checked back into the location and continued loading. 2 flights of stairs for each trip from the loading location to the truck; some light disassembly. Completed in 3 hours with 2 movers. The 4th hour as agreed was due to the actual arrival time of the movers.
We always ensure our customers items are properly packed and padded to any prevent damage & ensure safety.

Arrived late. Missing 1 man who had to be picked up and brought to location. Had no moving equipment, including hand cart or furniture dolly. Load up of truck proceeded. Both movers pleasant but were obviously unprepared. Paid extra fee for job being scheduled 48 hrs before load out date.

Very string communication before the move, did not respond after when I had a question on billing. With that said, the crew worked hard and really did great work for us.

The Legacy Team Moves was a great team. They had a clear plan and were nicely coordinated as a team.
They were very communicative and, at the same time, discreet in the house.
If you have any fragile objects, they packed them very thoroughly and carefully. I am very confident now about moving my household across the country. I think everything will arrive undamaged.
The team had a clean strategy on how to load the container. I first thought that things will not fit in properly. Butch they had a system and eventually everything went in.
I enjoyed their presence because all members of my team were open, friendly, and good communicators.

They arrived 2.5 hours late/after the scheduled time and moved very slowly which guaranteed additional time and money would be required for the move…
