I recently used Hire Helpers for a move from a three-bedroom home, and while the booking process was smooth and customer service responsive, the actual moving experience was extremely disappointing. Despite sending a detailed video of the items to be moved and confirming the plan with the moving team upon arrival, the movers refused to move my sister’s belongings citing a "liability issue" and demanded additional payment to continue. This caused a significant delay and unnecessary stress.
After contacting Hire Helpers, I was informed that there should have been no issue moving all items within the booked time. Unfortunately, this clarification only came after wasting 20 minutes in a frustrating debate with the movers. My partner had to intervene and promise extra payment just to get them to complete the job.
To make matters worse, we discovered that the movers had angrily packed our belongings, which led to us having to unpack and repack everything ourselves. This added even more time and stress to an already chaotic moving day.
The overall experience was marred by the movers’ lack of professionalism and clear communication. I hope Hire Helpers will address these issues to prevent future customers from facing similar problems.

Movers showed up one hour late. They did call before they were late. The reason was stated that one member had to be picked up although he was supposed to meet the team leader. They also stated traffic was heavy and it did rain. The weather and traffic info are available on the web. They simply did not put in enough travel time to account for contingencies. At the end of the pick up they ask me to complete the online payment. I did not leave them a tip. I got some attitude from on person and I told them TIPS stands for "To insure prompt service". Being an hour late was not prompt. As they were leaving they threw trash out of their vehicle on my driveway. I would not recommend this team remain in your system.
