I choose this moving company from Hire A Helper to move items that were in a Pod container to my mother's new apartment. I used a moving company through Hire A Helper previously to move items into the Pod and was very satisfied with their service. 1 Guy 1 Gal Movers was an awful experience. They said they would arrive 1:00-2:00, but they arrived at 5:00 because they locked their keys in their car. They finally started removing items out of the Pod and they told me that my mom's TV was cracked. I can't confirm if they broke the TV or not... But they did stack heavy boxes and a safe on top of other less stable boxes which crushed a broke some items in the bottom boxes. Also, I believe they went through the boxes before moving them upstairs. The movers made a comment about items in cardboard boxes that no one would know about unless they opened the boxes. I packed up most of the boxes, so I know I filled them to the top. Some of the boxes were half full. These movers made this move in a totally frustrating and disappointing experience. If you value your time and belongings, do not use 1 Guy 1 Gal Movers.

Awesome crew! Showed up on time, very professional. Pretty sure they have super powers!!! They cared for all of our belongings with the utmost respect and caution. They packed our POD like Tetris Masters and filled it with WAY more than we had anticipated. They were wonderful and would definitely HIGHLY recommend!

These people are absolutely amazing!!!! they were so organized, extremely prepared, worked so very very hard and quickly in the heat of the day, they were so knowledgeable about how to wrap everything as well as where to place everything in the rental truck. I highly recommend them and sincerely thank them, for all they did!!!!
