Marcos and Eddy were my assigned helpers in Austin, Texas. They got here early and then worked not only hard but carefully. Good men. Good local company. I've used Hire a Helper twice now with first rate results so I am a satisfied customer. Moving ain't easy, but hiring helpers surely makes it less difficult.

I had used these guys before and had a fantastic experience with them. It was a different group of guys though. They were a little late This time I asked for three guys, only two came. At first they were stacking my stuff nice and protecting things well. Then something happened (I'm not sure what) but they started not being so careful with my walls or furniture. I had to spackel and touch up paint areas where they banged my walls with my refrigerator. I have white paint stains on my leather couches where they shoved it through the door instead of taking the door off or asking me to do it. My 65" tv has a crushed box because of where they decided was a safe place to put it. Same with the box for my 42" tv. I don't know if my televisions are broken because I unloaded into storage. i would not allow these two guys to move my stuff again. Then they tried to charge me $390 for two guys when my quote was for $400 dollars for three guys. It tools some arguing but I got it for $320 for two guys for four hours. I won't use them again. I really hope my televisions work and that I can get the paint off my couches. If you go back to the end of July last year you will see my comments that are totally different from these. It was all praise. So I'm not just one of those grumpy people. They just really did a bad job this time in my opinion. I also tipped them both because they did work the entire time. My personal opinion is that they were getting tired at the end and had the third guy shown up things may have been different.
