They were very efficient at unloading the two PODS. They worked continuously, always looking out for obstructions, and did an excellent job with no minor damage. I would use them again. However, if they are coming a distance, then expect them to be a bit later than you might expect.

Two guys came and unloaded our packed POD in about an hour. They used a strap technique to carry a solid wood, heavy dresser upstairs with no dolly. These guys are efficient and profesdional. I'm definitely going to use this company again.

Tyler and Dave were fantastic, friendly and experienced movers who helped us with packing our entire apartment into a moving pod. In fact with some creative maneuvering and positioning they filled every square inch of it, sparing us from using an extra pod thereby saving us money. They showed respect for our stuff and us. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone.

I paid them for 7 hours of work. They had trouble getting my bedroom set out of second floor bedroom. They finished everything but bedroom set in 3 hours. I was told they would come back the next day with a third guy to bring down bedroom set. It never happened. So much for honesty.

This was my 3rd time using HireAHelper. The services I had used in the past were far superior to Ogre Man. This was a simple job; move the contents of a storage unit into a truck. I was on my own, female, 120 pounds. They were 3 hours late on arrival to the storage unit. By the time the two men arrived I had packed 1/3 of the unit into the truck myself. They kept complaining about how much stuff there was to move and spent more time on their cell phones then working. They then deliberately dragged the job out by bringing out the smallest and lightest items so that when the mandatory 2 hours were up I'd need them to go overtime to move the heavy items. When I refused, they felt bad and wanted to help me. Awful service, insidious and deceitful. Not only would I never use them again I don't know if I'll ever use HireAHelper again after this experience.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We provide a follow up call after booking, we go over the job details with you, answer any questions you may have in preparation for your move and offer any additional advice on packing items and what's needed for a safe and speedy move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We provide a phone call when en route to your move and as soon as we get to your location we do a walk thru to see what's being moved. We then start to wrap and protect items if we are loading, and get them into your truck or Storage container as safely and timely as possible. If its an unload, we do a walk thru to see the lay out of your home and ask where you want your belongings and then unload and unwrap your items safely and speedy. In both cases feel free to ask us to re arrange any of your items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
To be best prepared to save time and money, everything should be packed and wrapped and ready for your move. However, we understand moving is quite overwhelming and can be a lot to deal with, in which case, were happy to come in and pack your entire household up, bring supplies such as boxes, tape, blankets, everything needed for a successful move. Then just sit back, put your feet up and let us take care of everything from start to finish.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have been in this industry for over 15 years and have seen and done it all. We do everything from nationwide cross country moves, to office moves, residential home moves, white glove services for art and sculptures, to grand and upright pianos, vehicle and motorcycle deliveries, as well as animal delivery and everything single thing in between. There is not a single thing we haven't encountered and are prepared for everything we come across.

What training do you provide your crew members?
What makes us special is that we only hire experienced movers with a minimum of 5 years moving experience, the average is 7 to 10 years. What that means, is that very little training if any is needed, but provided when necessary to meet our standards for quality. Experience and knowledge is shared between movers on every job so our team continues to get stronger and more knowledgeable with every job. We look forward to turning your most stressful day into an enjoyable experience.
