We are highly trained professional movers with many years experience, we only hire movers with a minimum of 5 years experience. We specialize in everything from small households, to warehouses, to antiques and priceless pieces of art, upright and grand pianos, and everything in between. Our main goal is customer satisfaction, in addition we are non smokers so were not taking any unnecessary breaks, we get in there and get the job done as safely and as swiftly as possible. The two young men that showed up were polite enough but were not equipped to perform the tasks at hand; to unload my POD and move the items (no appliances) into a storage unit. They were not strong enough (or tall enough) to properly move my items which evidently was the reason for one of the men ( to remain nameless for now), to stand on my boxes and shove and push my items including several antique pieces, along the ground instead of lifting them. They were not equipped with the tools that the site stated they would be and went over time by an hour due to poor planning and staging at the unit. They exhibited no proper moving technique at all (let alone professional). My items were spread out in the lot near the POD, in the elevator area, and all along the hallways leading to my storage unit. I lost my confidence in their abilities quite quickly after witnessing all of this. To add insult to injury the same man that was climbing all over my boxes stored a small open container that I told him several times was coming home with me, in the very back of my storage unit; this contained all of my keys (car, house, storage, everything). He insisted that he did not and would have heard or seen the keys if he had moved the container with my keys on top. After 1.5 hours of searching everywhere on the property for my keys, (the movers had left by then, of course), I had to unload much of the unit to locate my keys. I was HIGHLY disappointed with this service and will not use them again. I tried to contact the owner to talk about this before writing a review but got no response to my messages. I had a good experience with them once but they have apparently hired people that are not qualified to perform the work. I could have picked up two day laborers that would have been more attentive to the careful handling of my items and for much less money. I now need to have someone unload and reload my storage unit properly. BIG WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!

PROS: On time, knew what they were doing (clearly professionals who've been doing this a long time), very nice guys.
CON: While they did the job in record time (substantially less time than I paid for up front through Hire A Helper), I would have preferred they stuck around to re-arrange boxes to different areas. But they seemed in such a hurry that I felt uncomfortable asking. Just as much my fault for not asking.

The crew was great. They called the morning of my move to let me know they could start one hour early. Arrived on time and got right to work. They were respectful and courteous and got the job done! Cant ask for more than that. I would definitely use them again.

These guys were fantastic at making sure my furniture was wrapped sufficiently with the pads and packing it carefully into the 16 ft POD. From the time of arrival they worked hard and very carefully in moving my furniture and other items. Dave knew exactly how to configure packing the POD. They finished within their specified time limit. If I wasn't moving out of California I would definitely have them help with packing or unpacking.

These guys were awesome. I have specific memory problems so I don't remember their names. They were extremely polite and professional and they worked fast without stopping. Hopefully next time I can figure out someway to request the same two guys.

Very happy with the service. We decided to hire 2 helpers for 5 hrs to move us to a neighboring county. Ogre Man Movers was very generous, in providing us with an extra helper for free. Great work OGRE MAN MOVERS!! We finished quicker than expected; left feeling thankful and less tired!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We provide a follow up call after booking, we go over the job details with you, answer any questions you may have in preparation for your move and offer any additional advice on packing items and what's needed for a safe and speedy move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We provide a phone call when en route to your move and as soon as we get to your location we do a walk thru to see what's being moved. We then start to wrap and protect items if we are loading, and get them into your truck or Storage container as safely and timely as possible. If its an unload, we do a walk thru to see the lay out of your home and ask where you want your belongings and then unload and unwrap your items safely and speedy. In both cases feel free to ask us to re arrange any of your items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
To be best prepared to save time and money, everything should be packed and wrapped and ready for your move. However, we understand moving is quite overwhelming and can be a lot to deal with, in which case, were happy to come in and pack your entire household up, bring supplies such as boxes, tape, blankets, everything needed for a successful move. Then just sit back, put your feet up and let us take care of everything from start to finish.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have been in this industry for over 15 years and have seen and done it all. We do everything from nationwide cross country moves, to office moves, residential home moves, white glove services for art and sculptures, to grand and upright pianos, vehicle and motorcycle deliveries, as well as animal delivery and everything single thing in between. There is not a single thing we haven't encountered and are prepared for everything we come across.

What training do you provide your crew members?
What makes us special is that we only hire experienced movers with a minimum of 5 years moving experience, the average is 7 to 10 years. What that means, is that very little training if any is needed, but provided when necessary to meet our standards for quality. Experience and knowledge is shared between movers on every job so our team continues to get stronger and more knowledgeable with every job. We look forward to turning your most stressful day into an enjoyable experience.
