They did not contact me beforehand like they were supposed to. They showed up 45 minutes after the time frame, we tried to call to confirm multiple times and no one answered and the voicemail was full. By the time they showed up, most of the work had been done.

They were such a BIG help! We appreciated how quickly and safely they helped move our furniture to storage and to our apartment. They were on time and were done within the 4 hours I purchased.

Texas Moving Center was excellent! They sent us two young men, Reickey and Miguel, who rocked!! We had a 26' rental truck that we had loaded as full as you could possibly fill, plus a pickup truck and a cabinet we picked up that needed unloaded into our new home here in New Braunfels. Both guys play college soccer and are very fit, yet which showed in their ability to get the job done as quickly as they did. They were both incredible young men, very polite, courteous, respectful of our property, handled every piece of furniture with great care and precaution as not to cause any damage. I would very highly recommend these gentlemen! They put in a hard day's work I the six hours with us, going practically non-stop until we would insist we needed a break for fresh, cold water or something. I might also add, they did all of this in triple-digit temperature. Thank you so much for a job well done, Miguel and Reickey! God Bless!

They were a God-sent and helped us move many of our large items from the second floor and into our storage container. They were right on time. They even helped us disassemble our bedroom furniture. The gentlemen were very kind and courteous. I definitely will be booking them again to move the rest of our home items.

I paid for three helpers for six hours to move a 5 bedroom house to a 3 bedroom house that was 5 minutes apart of from each other. They were late due to an accident, which was understanding. What wasn't understanding is that they had a brand new young man who hadn't moved before and my move was his first! How does a company think that it's a good idea to have a brand new person who's never moved anything before to move a 5 bedroom house!!!! Needless to say, they didn't finish the move and didn't work extra (for which I would have gladly paid the additional fee) because they had to get to another move. I called to complain to Hire-A-Helper, who called the owner and the owner said he would talk to the guys after the move, and I would receive a call either from Hire-A-Helper or the owner. Neither entity has called me yet. Definite poor service AND poor customer service with Texas Moving Center and poor customer service from Hire-A-Helper who has not followed back up with me. This is the third time I've used Hire-A-Helper businesses for my moves and the first time I've had these issues. Will have to think twice going forward.

The two movers from Texas Moving Center we'd hired did a great job unloading our moving truck early on a Saturday morning. They were on time, promptly got to work unloading and hustled until the truck was empty and my belongings placed in my home to our satisfaction. This is the second time we've used them in the past 6 months and I would gladly hire them again in the future.
