Caitin and Donnie are terrific! They arrived promptly and got right to work. They are strong and expert at wrapping and loading artwork and furniture.
We seriously underestimated the number of hours needed to wrap, load, and unload our furniture and they made it work. They worked late into the day and arranged with their boss to come back next morning to finish. We had multiple locations to load/unload with a POD, apartment, and storage room which they managed with ease. They have a very reassuring can-do attitude and made our hectic move go smoothly.
We're in a temporary apartment and will move again soon. We'll definitely ask for them. They deserve big tips!!!

Highly recommend these guys! They showed up promptly, had excellent communication, and worked crazy hard. They seemed to take great care of all of our items and this truck is full as can be. They got done in 4 hours what would’ve literally taken us 2 full days.

This company did an excellent job, were professional, and handled my belongings with care. I hired another company in the original state to load my truck and several things were broken. It was an awful experience.
Smart Move unloaded my truck in the destination state. They worked quickly, were very kind and respectful, and careful with my furniture and belongings. They are very thorough and made me feel at ease during a stressful moving time. This company represents what a professional moving company should be. Would hire them again 100%.

They We’re later than expected and seem to be distracted with their cell phones during the two hours that they were with us they seem to move a little slower than previous movers I have used in the past

I actually got lost coming to my home for the very first time located a rural area. I was over one hour late and these two great young guys waited! They unloaded my UHaul in record time and asked me if they could do anything else to help. They even backed up the UHaul so I could easily navigate out in morning light. They were the best! And The most generous tip I gave them made them smile!

The guys were amazing. They were timely, super clean, responsive and careful with my things. They def exceeded my expectations. I didnt know I could give them a tip to charged it afterwards to my account but they deserved a very nice tip, again, cant recommend the services enough. Re-hiring Hire-A-Helper again for delivery of my things.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part about being a mover is meeting new people everyday. Some of these relationships have lasted over 15 years!
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our training consists of live experience at our warehouse before going in our customers' homes.
