We had a good experience with Smart Move, we needed them mainly for larger or fragile furniture items and they were able to get all of it safely to the new location without issue. They were also very prompt at updating me on their time table and exceeded expectations in terms of communication. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Jamar , Jahlen , Lino did a wonderful job! First we got 3 for the order of 2. They made the job fast and efficient. Had to climb a hilly driveway and go up a flight of stairs. They brought all the right tools and were very polite and professional with respect for older adults. We really appreciate their hard work and would have they help us move again.

I'm sure this will never see the light of day... but I'll submit it anyway.
I'll never use this service, nor recommend this service, again.
I requested 2 people to help with loading and unloading a 16ft truck used for moving across town.
My main complaints are:
1) I was not comfortable with the "crew" (3 people arrived, not 2?) showing up in a vehicle that looked like it had been the target of a drive-by shooting... no rear window, front windshield smashed and pieces hanging from below the front bumper.
2) Two items of furniture were dropped and broken - not tremendously valuable pieces, but when I asked about a compensation policy I was sent a text saying that the "policy" was to offer $0.25 for every pound of weight of the items broken. This would have meant about $11 in total compensation - an utter joke and, in my opinion, highly disrespectful.
3) My couch was heavily scraped along a wall, leaving a nasty dent and mark on the wall, and a paint stain on the couch.
4) I had some credit cards stored in a drawer of one of my items that are now missing. I know I was stupid not to remove them, so my bad there - but I have no idea if they were dropped, taken (mistakenly) or placed somewhere else by a crew member. I asked the office representative if she would please check with the crew to see if they recalled seeing these cards, and have yet to hear back (it's been 8 days since the move).
Overall, a bad lesson learned - and, to top it off, the cost was $350.00 for less than 3 hours total work - I could have hired a reputable mover for only a little more..... and not had the hassle, time and cost of replacing the broken furniture and canceling the missing credit cards.

Other than a couple of broken items, which was to be expected, I was very pleased with both the St. Louis, and the Monroe group.
I would recommend this service to anyone in need.

Jimmy and his crew were awesome. Jimmie communicated well ahead of time, let me know when they were 25 minutes out, showed up on time and ready to work. Very polite and professional, asked where everything needed to go, took good care with all property. They made sure before they left everything was where it needed to be. Wish every crew was as good as these guys. Highly recommend. Thank you gentlemen!
