I have used this company for moving like 2 years ago and was amazed by work style. They were on time, very quick, strong and did the job in less than the scheduled time. Thinking that they might have same work ethics, I hired them again today 03/27/2021 and the service was HORRIBLE. One of the guy was on a phone call for some time, they were walking as if they were taking a walk in a park, careless about the time, very unprofessional. I thought if they did a good job, I would recommend them to my friends who are moving in a month but DEFINITELY NO WAY.

One of the only places in my area that popped up as doing moving with their own truck. Arrived at the beginning or the estimated time which was great, nice sort of bonus. Quick, efficient, and very helpful. Not much chit-chat except for where should things go, is that everything, can we help you with anything else. That was really wonderful for me, as I'm not really a chatty person, and they really moved to get my things in place. It was a smaller job, but there were lots of stairs and they were done even quicker than I expected. Extremely pleased, will absolutely use again if I move or recommend them to anyone I know.

Through hireahelper.com, we arranged to have some help moving things from a house in PA at 9:00 a.m. Right on time, K, Elijah and Mark showed up from Affordable Moving to get started. We showed them around and filled them in on what was going and what was staying. They got to work very quickly. They were polite and courteous; they all wore masks as they explained was their policy. They worked hard and completed the job in about an hour and a half. It would have taken us all day to do the job they did in 90 minutes. I can't say enough good things about Affordable Moving and what a huge help they were. We've used hireahelper.com at least 5-6 times and have recommended them highly to others who have also used them. I would not consider another move without hireahelper. When in PA, I would also highly recommend Affordable Movers, through hireahelper.

The cost of the move was a rip off. We only moved down the street and movers refused to take certain boxed items and furniture and some items after moved were marked up. They didn't take enough care of belongings. Our move went over the amount of time estimated and had to pay extra with an hourly rate. However, the move should not have taken over the estimated time for what we had. We will never use again and this was a bad experience. If we had to move ever again we would only use a service that we paid by job and not by hour.
We are not sure why you feel the cost was a rip off. When the work was completed, you signed off on the amount to be charged and you were aware ahead of time that there was an hourly charge for any additional hours. To your next point, your home was very narrow in more than one way which caused and
item to have miniscule damage do to bumping, because of that you requested the guys work the rest of the day for free. Which is neither reasonable nor doable. Due to the over exaggeration in your request because of the small damage, we refused to move those certain items you mentioned without them being disassembled before hand, to avoid any further damage or issues. You refused to have us disassemble any items because you did not want to pay for the time it would take. You also refused to take any items apart yourself while we were doing other tasks. Your husband said he would take care of those items on his own and to leave them. As far as the timing going over the pre booked hours, that was due to YOU underbooking hours for your move. We do not have anything to do with what you book for your move. YOU underbooking what you needed is what caused the overage in hours. Also, you booked too small of a truck for your move which caused us to make a second trip to get more items which also caused more time to be used. We wish you the best in finding fixed rate movers in your next moving endeavor!
