They were late which caused scheduling conflicts with other matters. I was surprised that they did not intend to secure items to the pod's interior and disappointed that I needed to persuade them to do so.
They were careful with my property, so I appreciated that much, but all in all, I wouldn't use them again or reccomend them to others

The movers arrived a half hour past the end time for arrival and were taking personal calls during the move which made me nervous as I was concerned that the movers wouldn't be done in the time frame scheduled and wanted to make sure nothing was damaged. The guys were pleasant and the move was completed on time, nothing was damaged and they put back together the furniture they took apart. I would use the company again though I'd want assurances that they would be on time and that they would stay off their phones during the move.

I had 2 guys for 3 hours, Darius and I think Thomas. They were fantastic! I had a large pod that was going to be pretty full. I had some pretty heavy furniture and a spiral staircase. They did a great job, got done early and I felt completely comfortable with them! A super nice pair of guys to work with. If I ever move back to Chicago I will definitely call them again!!

I would recommend S&L Express a thousand times over and will use them again if we ever need movers for anything. They are SO incredibly polite. They moved our furniture as if each piece was worth millions (such care!) and incredible speed. They were on time, prepared and wasted no time getting right to it. We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
