The first impression was not a good one--they were 45 minutes late and we had unloaded about 1/3 of pod while waiting for them. They were both friendly--one was extremely lazy and kept resting the furniture pieces on it's back legs. Clearly was not taught the proper way to move items. They did not have any tools with them to disassemble a bed frame. I would have to say I would not ever recommend them to anyone or use again. They were there for 4 hours as it was proposed.

S&L were referred by PODS to us. I specifically asked hireahelper.com if they know how to move pianos, I was told yes. But the guys still ended up damaging the wood floor! They didn't use a proper dolly, they don't have any tools (screw driver, etc). I still don't know if the piano was not damaged as we haven't unloaded the container yet.

The guys showed up in the hour discussed and unloaded my truck quickly! Got everything in the apartment, even a pretty difficult to move couch. I would use them again!

I have nothing but great things to say about these guys. They took a level of care that I was not expecting and was deeply appreciated. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a good mover, they fit more in a 16 foot box truck (securely and safely) than I thought possible.

Not only were S & L Moving on time, they were prepared and did the job with 100% effort. They were kind, curteous, and engaged in the task at hand. Excellent movers. Would move again and again if they were at the helm! (Lol, I hate moving!!!!!)

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
