The guys were on time and prepared. They were respectful of our items. They did a good job loading the pod, although we started out going all the way to the ceiling of the pod, and then going lower in the next segment. The guys unloading on the other end of the move pointed out that this can put a lot of weight on those bottom boxes, so it might not be ideal to stack to the ceiling, if you don't have to. That said, all of our items arrived in good condition! Some boxes were indeed a little squished, but that's obviously more a result of our packing, which we did ourselves. We did a lot of lifting and helping with the movers (which I don't mind). I don't think we would have finished the job if we hadn't also helped move. So I don't know if the time estimate of "two movers for three hours" for our 2-bed-2-bath move on the HireAHelper website was a little optimistic, or if the location of the pod being slightly farther away impacted the time. We asked to follow the suggestions on the PODS website, to use ropes between each set of baffles in the pod, and put a mattress in as the last item next to the door. The movers didn't follow that advice, saying we didn't really need it. On the other end, after shipping, the pod did indeed have a few items shifted up against the door, which made it tricky to get the door open, and some of our items had shifted around inside the pod. It looked a bit jumbled when we first opened it. But overall, they did do a good job of loading the pod, probably better than I could have done or at least much faster, and as I said, all of our stuff arrived nearly 100% intact. Also, I appreciate the advice from the movers on the phone ahead of time to be sure to get lots of furniture blankets. We did, and they were very effective. I would probably use these movers again, thank you!

The movers did an ok job & were nice guys overall, but not efficient with loading and they ran out of room for stuff. I was also surprised that they didn't bring any supplemental packing materials and didn't wrap anything to protect it before putting it in the storage trailer. I'm expecting a lot of items to be damaged. After spending $500, it's really inconvenient that I have to reload stuff myself anyway.

These guys did a great job. We hired 6 people and it took 10.5 hours to pack and unpack 9 full truck loads. They never complained. As a matter of fact, if any of the guys saw me moving something by myself, they quickly offered to move it for me. I would highly recommend them!

The guys did a great job and stayed as long as we needed them, even though we had underestimated our needs and the third POD we had order was late in arriving. They took extra care with our furniture.

Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving

Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
