I am thoroughly impressed and pleased by Hire a Helper's business model that allows me to pick the services I need for my individual moving situation.
It could have gone south had the actual movers been professional. But no! They called to confirm the day before and then 15 minutes out. The gents, Sam and Trent, very polite and even harder working. They lifted and carried with a smile and a wonderful work ethic.

The moving service consisted of two helpers to load a U-Haul trailer in Chicago. They were polite, on time, and did a great job of loading the large trailer. We really appreciated the service. They packed our goods incredibly well in the trailer. And they finished in less time than allotted! I would highly recommend them to others.

I highly recommend S&L Express Movers. We were moving from Chicago to Florida and called to have two people for two hours to load our furniture and other goods into a U-Pack 28 foot trailer. Two young men responded and were able to load everything into five feet instead of the the seven feet that I had estimated that we needed. The two young men worked fast and were able to load our entire contents into five feet of the trailer and did it in less that two hours. They were very professional and very knowlegeable of how to organize and make the maxium use of the space in the trailer. I was very impressed.

They were fine once they got there -were to be there 9-10 am and at 10:00 we did not hear from them so we called and they said they were stuck at previous job snd would be there at 10:30-they did not show up until 11-not happy with that!!

The guys were great - showed up on time. Even though we had issues with the building's freight elevator breaking down and they had to schlep everything a much longer distance to the lobby elevator to take things up, no complaints from either of the guys. Careful with all ofbthe furniture and boxes. Really nice folks!!

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving

Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
