These young men were very good. We were called three times while they were in transit to our home (Chicago to McHenry) letting us know their approximate arrival time. We toured the house to acquaint them with what needed to be done. We had done all our own packing, but were in desperate need to load the truck. We had hired four movers for three hours, and believe it or not, they were done in three hours!!
We did have a slight mishap at the very beginning, but they were extremely apologetic and the rest of the move went without any incident. They were fast, hard working, and the young man who was in charge was very professional, and his attention to packing was outstanding. His three helpers were also kind, courteous, hard working. Just a great group to help us.
We even had to do an off site move, which they did, and the truck was completely packed in 3 hours!! We had well over 120 boxes and 40 bins along with all our furniture and there was room to spare in the 26' truck.
Once we arrived to our new location, over 700 miles away, and were unpacking, not one box or piece of furniture was out of place.
We could not be happier and would highly recommend S & L Express.

Kevin and Kaneeth did an outstanding job! Customer service was top notch; both took extra care to ensure that items were protected and loaded properly, unloaded and placed in the correct rooms, and furniture blankets folded neatly upon completion. "It's just something extra we like to do." I have used S&L Express Moving Services twice with the same results, and will recommend them to anyone needing moving labor help.

These guys were great!!! I had a heavy safe in the basement which they moved with no problem. I watched these guys carry 3 or 4 boxes at a time, when I had issues with just 1. They were Tetris masters, using every inch of the storage pods. I screwed up and under estimated how much stuff we had and how many pods we would need. So after packing up 2 pods, I had to have them move the rest of my stuff to the garage, cause I had maids coming the next day to clean the whole house. They were very accommodating to my requests. And were nice enough to come back the next day to load the stuff from the garage to the new pod. I bought moving blankets and wrap to have them protect some of our furniture. I highly recommend them. I will use them again when we buy a new house.

My only complaint was that the movers arrived about half an hour late. Once they arrived, however, they were very efficient and capable, and were able to get some furniture into the apartment that didn't look like it would make it.

Trent and Kevin showed up on time and ready to work. They were extremely polite and were professionals the entire way through. They made the impossible turn into possible, and their packing techniques were past impressive. On top of that, they moved me on one of the coldest days of the year with no complaints. They were done with my move way under the time limit, too. I would recommend them to anyone in need of loading services. Thanks Trent and Kevin!!!!

I can not say enough words to express how professional and proper this group of hard workers were while helping me move. Once I booked them I recieved a call right away. Communication was superb. They arrived on time and worked from start to end. I presented them with the most difficult moving situation possible (4tth floor 3000sq ft unit with only exterior stairs in 10 degree weather). There were no displays of disapproval for the job and they all worked together and completed the job and kept themselves very presentable for all those around. The gentleman supervising the crew was exceptional and looked out not only for me but took care in helping the crew and making sure each of them were safe while utilizing the uncomfortable stairs. Upon arrival at our destination 1000 miles away we found the truck packed tight floor to ceiling and side to side. Not a single item was damaged and they had wrapped each piece of furniture in moving blankets and shrink wrap. It was truly impressive. Left wishing I had a few employees in my business with these standards. I appreciate everything I received and thank them for caring so much to make this go so well. Gentleman... You are appreciated !

Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving

Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
