Arrived on time, prepared, extremely hard-working, moved large pieces of furniture down several flights of stairs with tight turns without a hitch. They had a can-do attitude and finished on time and on budget. They asked questions when needed and took care of the rest. A++

They showed up over an hour and a half after the window they told me. I had already just moved most of the stuff by myself because I needed to get the truck back and it was after 6:30pm when they finally arrived. The original guy called me and told me they would be there at 5, then the actual movers called at 5:30 to say they were 40 minutes away, but didn't show up for an hour. They ripped the edge of our box spring and dented a bookcase, and they only ended up working for 30 minutes because we had already moved everything. Shaun, the manager, was very rude and unapologetic when I complained, and made me feel like I was an awful person for complaining about their service and refusing to pay for 2 hours of work that they didn't do. I had to demand a discount, which took me three different phone calls to get. I would not use them again.

The two movers were great. They arrived on time and did not waste any time. They worked hard until the job was completed. They were careful to not damage any property. They were also very helpful in moving something when I had them place it in the wrong spot.
I would definitely use this service again.

I was 1300 miles away from the job and without Hire a Helper, I would never have found S&L. Am using them again next week.

I felt the movers, were respectful,however they were inexperienced.My couch was ripped, arms on chairs were broken, and boxes tv's were in,were smashed.I now need to file an insurance claim on my items.

The two young men who came to help me were absolutely wonderful! They were early, worked hard, took careful of my items including some antiques, were extremely nice and respectful. I would absolutely hire them again!! Thank you for your much needed help!!!

We were extremely pleased with S & L Moving. They arrived early and worked very, very hard. We were impressed with Trent's ability to pack our pods. He really has a lot of experience packing pods. Both movers were very polite and courteous. They were extremely careful with all our wood furniture, wrapping each piece in a blanket and shrink wrap. They also did a great job of moving my console piano. My only suggestion would be for S & L to provide shrink wrap, tape and ropes or let the client know prior to the move to buy these products. I had to make two trips for supplies during the move which was ok but I would have purchased them before if I had known they were needed. Overall, our move experience with S & L was awesome and we would definitely recommend them. They did a great job for us!

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
