We were extremely pleased with S & L Moving. They arrived early and worked very, very hard. We were impressed with Trent's ability to pack our pods. He really has a lot of experience packing pods. Both movers were very polite and courteous. They were extremely careful with all our wood furniture, wrapping each piece in a blanket and shrink wrap. They also did a great job of moving my console piano. My only suggestion would be for S & L to provide shrink wrap, tape and ropes or let the client know prior to the move to buy these products. I had to make two trips for supplies during the move which was ok but I would have purchased them before if I had known they were needed. Overall, our move experience with S & L was awesome and we would definitely recommend them. They did a great job for us!

They were on time and worked hard. A couple of scary moments with heavier items but they recovered. Would have liked the option to use another hour.

These guys are great. Really. They were, without a doubt, the best and least stressful part of my move. They were on time and such hard workers. If you have a choice, skip all the other moving companies and hire this one.

Chris and Ricky did an excellent job moving all of my one bedroom apt across Chicago. They packed a small truck well and we got everything in one load. They were also very careful and everything got there safely. They were also ready to go above and beyond when we needed to go over the allotted time due to my poor planning! I'd definitely recommend them and would hire them again for another move.

We were very satisfied with the work that this company performed according to our contacts in Chicago. They said they did an excellent job! The only thing that we would give feedback for on improvement would be, they called us back stating that if they took a dolly, it would be a $35 dollar extra charge. We would think that should be a given when taking moving supplies. Otherwise, Great work! Thank you!

These two guys were really great and empathetic when I was moving out of a really bad roommate situation. They also finished 40 minutes early on a really hot day. I would recommend them to anyone.

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
