Wonderful help! These guys showed up on time and worked 4.5 hours nonstop! They were respectful of our items and house (walls, flooring, etc.). In the past we have lived and moved to both coasts and are now settling in the Chicago area, and honestly these guys were the best we have ever had. There energy level and efficiency was impressive. We have no complaints and give five stars out of five stars, THANK YOU!

Well we thought they did a good job until we unloaded the pod. So many items were damaged. We were very disappointed.

Very disappointing. The communication and scheduling process was so spot-on that I figured the level of service would continue to moving day. Not so! My biggest problem was that the job was left incomplete because the movers had to leave for another job. Unfortunately, I was told to contract for the lest amount of time(2 hours) I thought I might need, and that additional hours would be no problem to add until the job was done. The movers left after 4 hours, and there was much more that needed to be done. If I had known, I would have contacted for way more time.
My other complaint was that the two men who came to help were not highly motivated and seemed to lack the experience and/or training needed to move anything at all. It was extremely frustrating to have to follow them around to prod them on.
Needless to say, this is a mistake I will never make again. I thought this was a great solution seeing as I had a truck of my own. I would not recommend this option when comparing to moving companies. The savings is not worth the frustration.

Called me with 30 minutes notice of when they were going to arrive. They did exactly what I wanted Hauled everything from a 3rd floor apartment down the stairs and loaded the truck. Great job of loading the truck since nothing moved in transit. At the new condo they hauled everything up the elevator to the 3rd floor. Not a single scratch on the new paint. I will hire them next time we move.

The movers from S &L Express Moving Services were on time and were prepared for the job. I ended up having my own dollys to use, though they did offer their own for moving my belongings. They were very nice, respectful, efficient, and hard working. My overall experience with S&L was great - the main contact person called to confirm the order right away and was available, with quick responses, to any questions I had. It is obvious that excellent customer care is their #1 priority.

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
