I do not know where to begin on how amazing the service was. I was moving into a 3rd story building with NO elevator. I was going to have a truck full of stuff & no idea how I was going to get it into my new apartment. I found S & L Express while trying to find someone to unload my stuff.
The moment they pulled-up, I knew they were going to be saviors. The three men were able to unload the truck in less than an hour. They never once complained & everything was "Ma'am." I was so pleased with their work ethic & service. I will definitely be using them again & would recommend them to anyone looking to move.

The guys were nice and friendly. However I felt they weren't very efficient. I had hired a full service moving company a couple years back and they had moved more stuff than this for me in less than 4 hours. This time it took 5 hours which included me helping them as well.
They did not break anything which was good. Thank you for that :)
Overall, it took 5 hours and it cost me around the same as a full service moving company, hence the 3 stars.

They were nice guys and did a good job loading the truck. It would have helped if they had tools with them to unhook the appliances, but a neighbor helped us out with that. They worked hard and were respectful and polite.

I would highly recommend them. They were very friendly, worked efficiently, and went above and beyond our expectations. Book them!

They were about half an hour early. They didn't really bring any moving supplies but that was expected. I feel like they worked fairly hard but when given the opportunity, they'd try to take a break or stop. One of them kept checking their cellphone which I thought was a little unprofessional. Overall, though, pretty good work and aside from the frequent cellphone checking, I'd recommend them to others.

Had a last minute move date to an apt on the 5th floor with no elevator. They worked hard the whole time no complaints.

I can only say superlatives about Lashley and his fellow crew member. They arrived on the minute and were ass and elbows under some difficult circumstances. You can't ask for anything more.

They were so helpful! I hired them last minute (the night before) a busy move-in day and we wouldn't have been able to do it without them.
They called right away the night before to confirm and worked to squeeze me into their busy schedule. The day of they were on time and there exactly when I requested. They were prepared, hard-working, efficient, and extremely careful with our belongings.
I would hire them again in a heartbeat. They made the moving day virtually stress-free!

I am thoroughly pleased with S & L Express Moving Services. Curtis and Aaron couldn't have been more wonderful. They were on time, courteous, strong, very careful, and very knowledgable about packing the truck in the most efficient way. They worked extremely hard and earned their pay! They really knew what they were doing. I would absolutely recommend them and use them again myself.

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
