The workers came in the time frame that was specified and were very polite. The main worker really knew what he was doing; the other helper wanted to put tape on my furniture surface, of course, I objected. I had blankets and sheets to cover my furniture. They didn't want to use my protective items until I insisted. They finished within an hour and I had to pay for 2 hours work. I feel that is a bit unfair. I probably would not use them again.

They were on-time, did not waste time and once I explained the tasks and how we needed to flow in and out of the 24 foot truck we were using they went to town. They were respectful of our goods and showed some real experience and savvy in moving and handling everything. I would use them again.

We were very pleased with the help of our movers. We had a couple difficult-to-move/maneuver pieces of furniture and they were both very courteous and patient with the move. They were fast and professional and arrived right on time. We would highly recommend S&L for your moving needs.

I do not know where to begin on how amazing the service was. I was moving into a 3rd story building with NO elevator. I was going to have a truck full of stuff & no idea how I was going to get it into my new apartment. I found S & L Express while trying to find someone to unload my stuff.
The moment they pulled-up, I knew they were going to be saviors. The three men were able to unload the truck in less than an hour. They never once complained & everything was "Ma'am." I was so pleased with their work ethic & service. I will definitely be using them again & would recommend them to anyone looking to move.

The guys were nice and friendly. However I felt they weren't very efficient. I had hired a full service moving company a couple years back and they had moved more stuff than this for me in less than 4 hours. This time it took 5 hours which included me helping them as well.
They did not break anything which was good. Thank you for that :)
Overall, it took 5 hours and it cost me around the same as a full service moving company, hence the 3 stars.

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
