They did a fantastic job. Showed up on time, were careful with my items, and packed the moving truck correctly. I arrived to my new residence 7 hours away without anything breaking. Would definitely recommend these guys.

I WOULD NEVER ADVISE THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. WHILE THEY DID SHOW UP ABOUT THE TIME THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO (A LITTLE LATE), THEY DEMONSTRATED LITTLE EFFORT TO WORK HARD, PREPARE FOR THE MOVE, OR RESPECTFUL TO THE ITEMS BEING MOVED. THEY TORE UP THE WALLS AND SCRAPED THE BANNISTER WHILE MOVING A TREADMILL FROM THE SECOND FLOOR TO THE FIRST FLOOR. THEN THEY TORE UP THE HARD WOOD FLOORS WHILE MOVING IT A SECOND TIME (AND INCIDENTALLY BROKE THE WHEELS ON IT AND PROBABLY THE ELECTRICAL MECHANICS AS WELL). THEN, THEY CRACKED A PIECE OFF MY DRESSER AND FAILED TO EVEN MENTION IT (I FOUND THE PIECE ON THE FLOOR AFTER THEY LEFT). AT LEAST THEY COPPED UP TO DAMAGING THE WALL (NAMELY BECAUSE THE WALL WAS SO BADLY DAMAGED THAT IT HAD TO BE REPAIRED AFTER THEY LEFT). THEY PAID NO ATTENTION TO THE FACT IT WAS ALSO DAMAGING THE FLOOR WHILE THEY WERE MOVING IT THE SECOND TIME (IT WAS CLEARLY OBVIOUS...AND I HAD TO SUPERVISE THEM TO BE MORE CAREFUL.
ON TOP OF THAT, I WAS DOING MORE OF THE WORK THAN THEM. I HAD TO REPEATEDLY TELL ONE OF THEM TO KEEP MOVING THE ITEMS TOWARD THE STORAGE POD BECAUSE EVERY TIME I LOOKED HE WAS STANDING AROUND DOING NOTHING BUT TALKING TO HIS COWORKER (AND IT WAS NOT ABOUT HOW TO STRATEGICALLY MOVE MY ITEMS).
IN MY OPINION, JUST ABOUT EVERY OTHER MOVING COMPANY I EVER USED IS BETTER THAN THIS ONE....EVEN THE ONES WHO NEVER SHOWED UP! IN THE END, THEY DRAGGED OUT THEIR SERVICES FOR ANOTHER HOUR (FOR A HIGHER WAGE) AND THEY CAUSED MORE DAMAGE TO MY PROPERTY AND THE HOUSE THAN IT WOULD HAVE BEEN TO DO IT MYSELF. IN THE END IT COST ME MORE TIME, MONEY, EXPENSES FOR REPAIR OF THE DAMAGE, AND DAMAGE TO MY OWN PROPERTY. PLUS, I EXPECT THAT ONCE I GET THE POD UNLOADED, THERE WILL BE MUCH MORE DAMAGE TO MY ITEMS DUE TO THEIR RECKLESS MOVING SKILLS AND LACK OF MASTERY IN LOADING A POD. AFTER THEY WERE DONE, THEY HAD THE GALL TO WAIT FOR ME TO RELEASE THE PAYMENT AND MAKE SURE THEY GOT THEIR EXTRA HOUR OF PAYMENT DESPITE THEIR DAMAGE, LACK OF EFFORT, ETC.
LASTLY, I WANTED TO COMPLAIN TO A SUPERVISOR, OWNER, OR THE LIKE AND THE PHONE NUMBERS I HAD DID NOT CORRELATE TO A SUPERVISOR OR ANYONE EVEN INVOLVED WITH THE COMPANY. I PLAN TO FIGHT THE CHARGE WITH MY CREDIT CARD TO AVOID PAYING THEM ANYTHING.

My experience with S & L Express Moving was a positive one. I had hired two movers for a two hour window. They arrived on time and were extremely professional and efficient. They had my entire (second floor) two bedroom apartment moved and loaded into the moving truck in a little over an hour. They were even nice enough to help me take my garbage downstairs. I would also like to say they did an excellent job of packing the truck. I was moving out of state and had to drive the U-Haul 500 miles. Everything was packed perfectly and hadn't even budged once I opened the back! My dad, who was a professional mover way back when, even commented on how well everything had been packed in. I would highly recommend their services and would use them again if I ever needed to.

Our movers worked quickly and stayed within the 2 hour time frame. I was a little worried that they didn't bring a dolly, but that didn't seem to slow them down at all! They got the job done, and I'd use them again for future unloading jobs.

I scheduled an arrival between 1-2pm, but mentioned that I'd prefer closer to 1, if possible. At exactly 1pm my phone rang and, to my surprise, they were downstairs! They were both very courteous and professional, worked very hard and finished ahead of schedule. Because they were able to finish early, they offered to move/rearrange furniture in my apartment before they left. This was my first time using HireAHelper and the entire experience was positive. I would not hesitate to use S&L Moving again in the future.

I was very impressed by the quickness and professionalism of S&L Movers when I used them to unload a truck for us when we moved. They were running a little late due to excessive traffic, but were in constant contact with us as to their whereabouts. Very professional workers, careful with our things, courteous to us and my family, did an efficient job, and the price was right! Highly recommend!

Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving

Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
