I had called S&L Express Moving before hand to make sure that they sent over movers who were familiar with loading PODs. They assured me that they would send experienced movers over to us. This was extremely important as we had to two hour move period. Unfortunately, the movers they sent were not experienced at all. They were nice enough, but it was clear they spent too much time trying to figure out how to properly put the move together.
Also, the movers themselves seem to not work fast and I had to start moving some of the stuff myself. Overwall, without question, one of the worst and frustrating moving experiences I have ever had.

The two guys who came out from S&L showed up on time, were friendly, and worked fast. They weren't necessarily experts at Pod packing, which is what I hired them for, as I found them through the Pods referral service, but they did what appears to be an okay job. With their affordable rates and other positive qualities, I would hire them again.

This was a wonderful solution to our move in this weekend. The two young men were punctual, careful with my furniture, constantly aware of my newly painted walls, courteous, articulate, friendly and professional. There were a lot of companies to choose from, my experience with this one was top notch.

The two guys who helped with our move were fantastic. They showed up right on time, busted their butts, were extremely careful with our furniture, and had no problem unloading the furniture at two different (albeit close) destinations in the suburbs. Would absolutely recommend S&L.

Two guys showed up right on time and were prepared. They worked quickly and hard and took care with the fragile goods. They were friendly and were able to get everything out of the truck quickly when I told them I needed to get it back sooner rather than later. Fast move-in, did a great job with a really tiny freight elevator. I'd definitely use them again.

S&L Express lessened an awful lot of the stress around our move by being professional, courteous, and most importantly, packing our goods in a safe, quick manner.
We had a lot of stuff to fit into a smaller-than-we-thought space and they executed this flawlessly. Everything was treated with the utmost care and we cannot recommend them enough.
We will definitely be using them in the future and advising our friends and family to do the same.

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
