Guys showed up right on time and were prepared. They worked quickly and hard and took care with the fragile goods. They were really friendly (a necessary quality when you're dealing with a move with so many reservations and requirements it will no doubt fall apart at every juncture -- and it did) and helped me deal with a lot of details of moving I wasn't great with (what needed to be wrapped, navigating my truck around an incredibly narrow alleyway).

S&L was great, they showed up on time and worked extremely efficient. The guys were friendly and treated my furniture as if it were their own. I would highly recommend these guys - not sure why anyone would leave a bad review. Additionally I originally book them for a 5-6pm arrival, I called to see if they could come earlier and they moved me up to a 10am arrival on the busiest moving day of the year! (August 31) - again, highly recommended hard working individuals. Very professional.

The two movers were awesome. I booked them for five hours and they finished half an hour early. We had to move everything up three flights of stairs at the new place and the movers did a great job. I am yet to find anything broken or damaged. I would definitely use them again.

It took the helpers 1 hour more to get to our house, but they did a great job. They worked hard, made sure our furniture was in good shape. I would totally use them again.

Two young gentlemen arrived at 9:30 am on the dot (they were scheduled to arrive some time between 9 and 9:30am) and worked tirelessly for exactly two hours, at which time the job was completely finished. They took great care handeling my belongings - nothing was damaged and everything arrived in the condition I had last seen it in. They were polite, hard working, took direction, were organized, and had great ideas for how to make the most of the two hours we'd hired them for. I would absolutely hire them again - job well done!

The two men I requested,not only showed up on time,but we had to wait for about 45 minutes for the customer to show up.If I were to move from the chicagoland area again,i'd request Kevin and Corey again.

This was the first time we used S&L Moving Services. We needed assistance loading 2 PODS. The workers were polite & hard workers. My only frustration was an hour delay in their arrival but it was due to traffic that could not be avoided. Once they arrived the job was completed within the timeframe I requested.

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
