They were 15 minutes late, but I was informed ahead of time, therefore there were no surprises.
Both guys Aaron and James worked very hard, and I had no problem when the three hours were up and ran into additional time.
Aaron knew how to load the truck to perfection. We were amazed with his expertise. We would recommend this team without hesitation.

S & L Express Moving Services' two movers arrived as expected on July 16, 2020 the Chicago South Loop apartment, worked efficiently and effectively, to get all my boxes and furniture from my 17th floor apartment, down to the modest loading dock area and well packed and arranged on to the Pack Rat pod that we had contracted for the move to Miami. They were able to get everything done in the 3 hours I had allotted, which I knew was more than normal for a 1-bedroom apartment but would likely be needed because of the modest elevator and loading dock.
My communication and coordination with the S & L Express coordinator was excellent as well.
I had selected S & L because of the large number or excellent recommendations, and was not disappointed. I highly recommend S & L Express for your Hire-A-Helper needs!!!

The 3 gentlemen who came to move everything out of my house did an amazing job. They were running a few minutes late, but called to let me know. They came prepared to work, they worked very efficiently, but were careful with the items where it was necessary. They packed the pods so well it was like watching a really good Tetris player. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

Darius and Kaneith were awesome! They arrived on time and got straight to work. They are experts at placement of items for greater efficiency in the storage rooms. They went out of their way to arrange items the way we preferred in the storage area. Great work ethic and nice guys. We would definitely hire them again. Top notch!

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
