Always Reliable Movers were AMAZING!! The day before our move we were informed by our truck rental company that the 24 foot truck that we had reserved for our cross state move would be unavailable, and that all they could offer us was a 16 foot truck. We were very nervous that our stuff was not going to fit. Always Reliable not only was able to fit everything onto the truck through some truly ingenious packing, but they were kind, courteous, punctual, and just all around great guys. Would HIGHLY recommend these movers - they turned what could have been a disaster into a triumph.

Our move was totally within our existing home. Peter and Walter were terrific. Their challenge was to move an extra large sofa bed from one room with crazy angles into another room at the other end of the house with equally crazy angles. Their attention to detail, and to avoiding any damage to the furniture or the walls and doors was amazing. They were efficient and a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend them and their company again.

Upon arrival, the two men from hire a helper we given an tour of each room and were specifically told in order of importance which items needed to absolutely fit in the pod. They were again clearly advised about half way through the loading process when a concern arose that not all items would fit what items were of utmost importance and needed to get loaded in the pod. Despite paying for additional time, 1.5 hours, they ignored our specific requests and left some of the most important items off the pod and left. Poor service and communication. We would not recommend hire a helper and would never use again!

Wow. Never had a more flawless loading experience. On time, prepared, hard working, good at puzzles (we filled a pod to the max), careful with our things--very nice people to work with. Thank you, guys. Would (and will) use again. Highly recommended.

They did an outstanding job. Were scheduled to arrive between 8a and 9a and were there at 840a (plus they had called at 825a to say they were running a bit late but would be there soon). We took a quick tour to assess what was to be moved and they got immediately to work. Their packing of the U-boxes was quite skillful, getting everything in, and in such a way that I have every confidence the goods will arrive in good shape. The lead fellow also pointed out a few items that had scratches and/or cracks beforehand (which we knew about), which shows his attentiveness to the work. All in all, their performance was, as I said above, outstanding.

So pleased with their professionalism, respect for belongings, just really wonderful guys who worked very hard. Got job done ahead of time which rarely happens. Very short notice for loading my rental truck in Trumbull CT. While they ran somewhat late Monday am, they communicated w me and were coming fr ny so was understandable. They were very professional and did an excellent job wrapping fragile furniture ( DR breakfront) ( using my tape and materials) and several paintings and a grandfather clock. They were efficient and polite and got everything done within the two hour minimum. Would recommend for use again.

This crew called twice , once an hour away and second time about 15 minutes away. Everyone was polite and all business about completing the job in a timely fashion. My company has dealt with all types of moves so It's extremely unlikely for us to see something we have not seen before.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Meeting new people and seeing new places. For me it just never gets old.
