They were delayed about ten minutes but moved fast and efficiently. They were prepared for the job. Be sure to let them know in advance if you need assembly of your bed, etc. so they can bring the proper tools. They are friendly and hard working guys. I would use them again.

Once again, A Positive Movers did a fantastic job! Marcus and Steve were amazing. They arrived on time and worked like crazy to get everything done in 6 hours. It was a complex move with heavy furniture that needed to be disassembled before it was packed and they are meticulous about wrapping the furniture before storing it. They also had to move very heavy furniture from the second floor which they did professionally and with ease. These guys are awesome and I highly recommend them for any moves you have. We will definitely ask for them when we have our next move in a few months.

Neil and his brother were awesome! They came on time, stayed for 6 hours, and worked like crazy the whole time taking just two 5 min breaks. We had big multi-unit cabinets that had to be separated before they could be stored, and they handled it with ease. Very big strong guys! They were super careful with our property wrapping everything with cardboard, blankets and tape to ensure nothing got damaged. They are master packers - filling the 16" container up like a jigsaw puzzle! I would definitely use them again - and in fact will be using them again this weekend! Highly recommend them for help with moving - or any other help needed in your house!

These guys charged me $50.00 for 5 packing blankets, upon their leaving I realized they only gave me 2. They charged me $20.00 for a roll of plastic wrap and then tried to take what was left of it, I actually had to ask for it back. I have used Hire a Helper in the past but being ripped off like this it may very well be the last time!!!!

The only good thing was that the workers arrived on time. Everything else went down hill from there. We had requested 5 and two men and their sons showed up so we ended up only having 4 helpers. We began work and things seemed fine. Workers started with moving walls into place for our exhibit which can be very dangerous and has to be done a specific way. Our staff member attempted to instruct one of the sons and the father confronted him saying "don't you be talking to my boy like that, you do that. That's your job. " Our staff member tried to explain that he was going to be instructing them all on how to do lots of things. From then on they had terrible attitudes and were very reluctant to help. It was like pulling teeth to get them to finish a task. They were slow to pick up on simple tasks and because they dragged their feet so much we had to have them stay an extra hour. One of the sons was even caught rummaging through our iPod box which he had no business in. They also included their drive time in their "active hours" which to our knowledge has not been a standard practice with other helpers.
