These guys knew what they were doing and humped the entire time. They may look a little scrumpy so be prepared for that. Otherwise, they were very professional.

I don’t know where to start.
First, they arrived late for scheduled appointment. I asked for 2 helpers. First showed up 1 helper. I asked him if he works for Helping Hands, he said “no”. He was hired just for that day by his friend who was supposed to come to help. Later 2nd helper showed up. I was helping them to unload boxes. They had no idea how to move boxes. Don’t get me wrong! I had 16’ truck with half-full of stuff. It has to be done in 2 hours the most. Guys were working so slow. They looked like to work so long so they can charge me for extra hours which was triple amount of first 2 hours. It passed 1,5 hrs and they were able to make only 6 rounds to my apartment, each round was taking 15 minutes. When it passed 2 hours only 1/2 of boxes was moved to apartment. And those boxes were the most easy to move. I called the guys to apartment and my wife told me that one of our expensive table was broken during they carry it from elevator. I said to guys to “stop”. I called their boss and told them to LEAVE. They ARE NOT the professionals of this job. If you want to save your furniture and your money, DO NOT WORK WITH THIS GUYS!!!

on time prompt service a physical follow up of what's going and a lot of communication between you and the workers as well as between the workers themselves. other than that... RELAX... you're in "Helping Hands".
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
make sure to find out what are moving procedures and protocols in your building/ make sure everything is packed securely and not overloaded to ensure safe transport/make sure you have all necessary equipment for your move/ have all questionable oversized items measured to ensure a good fit or slip through/ Parking is essential please ask building management or a friend to help you with this.
What types of moves have you handled?
I've handled office/residential staging including assembly/disassembly of furniture as well as arrangements of item placements, although we are local we don't mind traveling
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
There's no better satisfaction than seeing a customers' expression when everything is done. Satisfaction and gratitude is what I strive for. I also love seeing what may seem an impossible task and making it look effortless.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Although we train for heavy lifting and furniture angling not all sites and items are the same so we also train for preparedness. As well as customer service

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.

We do not refund for any unused time.

We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
