The guys did a wonderful job. Company was in touch before the move making sure everything was still good for the appropriate day. Was called when the movers were just a few minutes out, gentlemen were prompt, very careful with my things, and always confirmed with me if they had questions regarding placement of furniture or boxes. Would definitely recommend this company.

We're scheduled to move me from 8am-10am, didn't show until 2pm. The lady in the office extremely unprofessional- no one reached out to me. I had to contact Hire a Helper who contacted them, and only after that did someone from A &M speak directly with me. I don't understand how you don't communicate with someone when you're scheduled to arrive between a scheduled window- totally unprofessional wouldn't recommend A&M Friendly Movers. I will add that it wasn't the actual mover who arrived fault, all three of them were pleasant, and worked hard, but the administrative side were awful.

I'm a little disappointed in the service frankly.
1st, when scheduling a 3rd party appointment, it let me book (and pre pay) a date/time that the provider was not available - so even though Hire a Helper found another provider - it was much more expensive (over $100 more!).
2nd, the portal requires you book the time required to do the job (movers), I'm not a mover, so I didn't know how long it would take, so I booked 3hrs. the move only took 2hrs (at $255/hr!). When I attempted to get a refund of the unused hr, I was told by the vendor that it was booked through a 3rd party (Hire a Helper) that they couldn't refund. When I contacted Hire a Helper - this is the response I received:
"This is HIre A Helper, we see in the policy A & M Friendly Movers has they don't refund for unused time, the order would have to be marked as complete with the 3 hours booked."
NOTE: You even mistyped your own name in the response...

The guys from A&M were fantastic. Arrived on time. Professional and friendly movers. Completed a tough 3rd floor move in 90 minutes. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

They were 22 minutes early, on a Sunday, coming from another job. They were very nice and "friendly". I hired 3 guys, and had two different areas to load from (apartment and garage). Two guys started loading the boxes from the garage while the 3rd one wrapped furniture in the apartment with pads and shrink wrap...great system. They were very efficient and professional, but held a nice conversation throughout the move. It took 2 hours, 12 minutes from the time they showed up until I shut the storage room door.
I wold definitely recommend.
