Although they showed up near the end of the time frame, they moved very quickly and the packing seemed to be well organized. Packed up my house in about 90 minutes. Very polite as well.

The two young men were here on time, worked hard, were very polite and got everything we asked them to do done. However....
I would have said they did a wonderful job but after they left my husband couldn't find his money clip. We can't say for sure what happened to it but it seems a bit suspicious that it went missing while they were here. We don't really care about the money but the clip had sentimental value and that can't be replaced!

Mover's response:
I'm glad you were satisfied with your move! I apologize your husband lost his money clip but I know for a fact my crew didn't take anything. Please look around more thoroughly before thinking my crew did something like that.

First, the good stuff. They did the job. It was a horribly hot day and they moved everything in a timely manner. There are a few scratches on the wall (it happens). And a few pieces got some damage (it happens and we aren't sure if they might have happened during the drive). I don't blame them for either of those things. However, my time was scheduled for between 9-10am. I didn't receive a call until 9:30am in which they told me that they weren't going to show up until 10:40am. They said it was because of an issue with their car. Which I understand, I just wish there was better communication. They arrived and I thought this mover said that the helpers were to be uniformed and they were not (I apologize if I'm wrong about that). They did not ring the doorbell or say hello, they just opened the truck parked on the street. They also did not know whether they were loading or unloading until I told them. While they were bringing in boxes, they asked me if I wanted them to put them in the room they were supposed to be in (they all had labels, and each room had labels as well). Yes, obviously. I am paying them to move stuff. I wasn't sure why that was a question that needed to be asked. After bringing in a few loads of boxes, one of the guys then got a bit frustrated and said he would bring in the boxes but we would need to put them where they were supposed to go. In the end they did put them in the rooms they were supposed to go, but it was not without some complaint. Overall, they did the work and nothing really bad happened. I could not have done it myself. I just wish there was better communication and more professionalism.

Mover's response:
I'm sorry for the inconvenience of us getting a flat tire but at the time this happened we had horrible service and weren't able to get thru when it initially happened. Also, we contacted you before the stated time in this review to notify you ahead of time we were going to be late. In reference to the damage, I have pictures of everything inside the truck for proof of others damaging it. Not my crew. I do recall notifying you about the damage. We always ask the customer where to put their belongings so everything is easier for them and we never once asked about that nor gave you an attitude.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! They sent an inexperienced and irresponsible team of 3 young men who gave no thought or organization to the way they packed. No floor coverings were put down to protect our carpets during the move so we had to scramble to hire a carpet cleaner to clean our stairs before we could turn our home over to the new owner. Although the contract said the moving team would stay an extra hour to complete the job if needed these gentlemen refused and left with a number of items still on the lawn. They also left many heavy items upstairs in the house but told us that they had brought everything outside. We had to remove and pack all these items ourselves.
We called the owner to let him know how disappointed we were with the movers and he was very gracious and told us he would make everything right including covering the cost of cleaning the carpets. He told us that he wanted to be there when we opened our pods at their final destination to assess any damage to our possessions. Now that it's time to have our pods delivered and we have tried to schedule a date to unpack our pods we have been totally blown off by the owner, first with scheduling excuses and now he will not return our calls or texts. He never came good with reimbursing us for cleaning our carpet either. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?

Each customer can expect a stress free and easy move. Whether it’s a load, unload, rearranging of furniture, etc., it will be the BEST experience the customer will have yet. Each request the customer has will be met. Every want and need of the customer will be reached. The customer can also expect their belongings to be safely packed, unpacked, etc.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

A customer can expect a PROMPT arrival. The team arriving is already filled in on the details of the job request so the customer can feel at ease and stress free. The entire experience of moving day for the customer will exceed their expectations tremendously because of our professionalism and diligence.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

A customer should prepare for moving day to however they see fit. I strongly suggest moving boxes and wrapping, especially if you would like us to pack the house for you. I also suggest moving blankets to protect your valued belongings as it is packed into a truck, container, etc. Each crew has hand trucks and tools to further assist throughout the job.

What types of moves have you handled?

Affordable Moving has handled every type of move you could think of. We have handled warehouses, cross country moving, local moves, office buildings, libraries, even military moves(including on base).

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

My favorite part about being a mover is being able to travel to different places, meeting new people, and to also challenge myself because every move is different.

What training do you provide your crew members?

I personally hands-on train every crew member. Every crew member goes through a full month of training to ensure they can do every job to the best of their ability. Each crew member is trained to reach my personal standards of a professional mover.
