This is the second time I have used Sam's Moving. They are excellent. The helpers were on time (in fact about 15 minutes early so they could ensure they were ready to go at the job start time). They had everything needed for the job: furniture blankets, tie downs, dolly, and tools. They worked steadily for the entire time on the job. I have used them twice as they take fantastic care of all property they move. I have an extensive collection of figurines and snow globes and they treated them as if they were their own. Very much appreciated i would use them again and have been recommending them to everyone I know. Overall, this is the best experience I have ever had moving.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! First issue: 3 helpers instead of 4. Next - the "leader" was overrun by one of the other crew. They could not figure out how to put a sofa through the door. One of the crew could not keep hold of the furniture. They broke a curio cabine, put a hole in the wall and damaged the round corner in my home. Then they asked me what should be done about it. Really? They could not do this because wall mud shrinks and it takes at least 8 hours between applications, plus texture and paint - which I ended up completing. The owners wanted to charge 3 hours of overtime. The crew "leader" left to purchase repair items to fix the hole in the wall which took about 45 minutes for repair and driving, not including repeated phone calls from the owner. Hands on watching was required for fragile pieces, and where to place pieces. I spent nearly $50 buying them drinks and food! Every piece was covered with blankets, cardboard and shrink wrap - yet there were many damaged pieces. They did not bring the equipment stated in website description.. I provided a ladder and also had to borrow 2 from neighbors.The owner later admitted they were out of town when the move occurred. She later called to ask me what happened during the move (i.e. Who put the hole in the wall and who broke my cabinet). We had already argued over the overtime amount. These guys did not agree or get along in any way. I now have "souvenirs" from this move. They could not figure out how to remove a table from a back room until I suggested they remove a door so they could get it around and out (professional movers?), took the support out of my dining room table because they could not figure out how to get it through the door and then decided to toss that piece on the floor. I had a shelf arrive in pieces, lids for garbage cans trashed, broken containers and more. I would NEVER recommend Sam's Moving to anyone. They owe me for damages and have not returned my call, even though Sally (owner) said she wanted photos of the damage when I received my items on the other end.

They arrived ahead of schedule and started right away. They worked very hard and were courteous and respectful to me and my home and belongings. They forgot to bring the right tools for putting together a bed frame but returned the next day and got it done very quickly. Yes I would use them again. It was great to have local young people who worked hard.

The guys from Sams Moving showed up on time, prepared, and worked hard! I had some items moving and some staying which they only had to hear once. I also had pets in a room with the request to not open that door. The guys honored that request which made moving day much easier for me! They were also very careful with all my furniture and boxes. I have a few other items to move and am using this company again. I highly recommend them!
