You take a chance anytime you hire unfortunately this time we got a bad Apple. They showed up late unprepared, no tools. First crew left and a second crew showed up . Have to patch and paint several walls.
Good news is they carried the heavy stuff upstairs.

One guy was a little late but called to let me know. So he worked alone for 30 mins
The second guy came and they both worked for 2 hours more.
At the end I owed for 1/2 hour for one guy but I was charged for 1/2 hour for two guys. I did email and notify Hire a Helper but no one has responded.
The guys did a good job but I did not appreciate being overcharged or the fact that no one has bothered to contact me when I notified them.

It was nice to have the help, especially for the heavy stuff. Maybe not worth $400 for me in the future though. At one point they were just gone for 20 minutes, we were thinking maybe it was a smoke break. But it sucks that WE have to pay for that break time. I’m totally down for a break here and there because obviously moving is hard and tiring, but that is a long time to be gone especially when we only hired for two hours in total. One of them went back to his truck at least 10 times, I’m not sure what for. I think we easily could have busted through everything in 2 hours if those things didn’t happen, but we had to pay for 30 extra minutes. They were both really nice and again, really appreciate the help and they did a good job, which is why overall I have four stars. Just hoping to leave a review to help make it 5 stars for the future. Also, definitely make note of when they arrive. They were supposed to be here by 2, but it was 2:40 before they came and one of them tried to make me think they were only 10 minutes late. But I stood my ground so we agreed on 2:30 as the start time.

The 2-person moving crew was provided information ahead of time on two separate occasions regarding special instructions for where to load (on an army base) as well as the need for specialized moving equipment for some heavier items. I was assured that the moving crew would arrive to the location with all of the necessary items needed to get onto the army base and load my items. Only one person from the moving crew showed up for the move, and he had expired registration on his car. The army base police would not allow the mover on the base with expired registration and I had to transport the mover as well as his equipment in my own car across the base and out to the storage unit. I specifically hired 2 movers so that my 70-year old father did not have to assist in the moving; however, he ended up having to help the one mover who showed up loading items onto the truck. which put undue strain on his back. The move was anticipated to take 2 hours with two "professional" movers, but it ended up taking 4 hours with only one "professional" mover, and this additionally screwed up our moving time line for a complex out of state move. Lastly, when I explained the situation and my dissatisfaction with the lack of contracted services and follow through to the company following the move, they offered to refund me $26.00 and suggested I leave a review as an acceptable resolution to them not providing the contracted services. I was extremely unhappy with this company's services as well as their customer dispute resolutions process. I would not recommend this company and suggest contracting with another more reliable company who is willing to provide adequate follow through and customer satisfaction following mistakes made by the company.

They were coming from Colorado Springs and got a flat tire. They took an Uber to our house in order to still get our move completed.

3 of the hardest working, happy, polite and helpful young men I’ve met in a long time. They worked from the moment we started till the moment we finished. I hardly lifted a finger other than to say where to put our belongings. I was very pleased to see the work ethic of these young men and their consistent never give up attitude. It’s contagious and I would recommend them highly. Thank you again for giving us a team that got the job done with the grit needed and a smile doing it.
