Antonio and his crew of 3 guys were the absolute best! On time, very fair about timing. They had moving mastery, expertise and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. I didn't think they could fit it all in the pod and they did with room to spare! They made the move look easy and had great teamwork and good spirits. They communicated and showed care for our stuff and maintained safety. Great job! Very friendly. Super pleased! I wish i could hire this crew for all my moves. Highly recommend these awesome guys.

While they were hours late, they did show up. They also communicated very well. I knew exactly what was going on.
While I only ordered 2 people, they showed with 3.
They were able to professionally pack everything into the 16ft pod. This saved us about 2k because we were able to send back the 8ft pod. There is no way that I could have done this ony own. So we were very appreciative.
I purposely waited till we unpacked everything before writing the review. I am happy to report that not one item was scratched, damaged, or broken
They worked there butts off, and we fun with them. Thanks to this crew, it was the best move ever.

Tony and Jeffrey were incredibly efficient and organized. They were able to unload my large sized PODS container in under 90 mins without stopping for a moment. We got stuck in the elevator for ~ 30 mins (elevator malfunction), but Jeffrey was able to keep the mood light with jokes and they were still able to finish the move on time. 10/10 would recommend and use them again.

Our initial team leader was nice and clearly experienced but with 5 different people coming in and out over the course of 2 hours (when we only hired 2 people) a box of very expensive liquor was taken. Based on the contents, we estimate that about $700 dollars of high end liquor was stolen during our moving process.
Ultimately our things were okay, but the organization of the move (due to multiple people starting and stopping the loading and who clearly have different methods for packing a POD) was pretty terrible when we received our things in Houston. We were lucky that so few things broke as half of our furniture was toppled and the boxes were nearly about the fall over.
This was on top of a less than positive close out experience where the guys (who were remaining) told us they would not charge us for the extra time and then we’re called to pay the extra hour.
I will not ever use HireAHelper again and will really need to consider our moving needs next year. It was not worth the money since it ended up being a $1,000 endeavor with the missing box.

We had a challenging move loading in two apartments from two locations into one truck but the two movers we had help kept a positive attitude the entire time and were really helpful. I forgot their names but would love to make sure they see this! They were great and highly recommend the service to others.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We will call to confirm your order and ask for details to make the move as smooth as possible. We ask important questions regarding the needs of our customers
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
we provide Dollies, ratchet straps, blankets and tools for disassembly and re-assembly on every move. We will provide additional materials such as, shrink wrap and mattress bags upon request. We will give the customer a courtesy call when we’re on the way.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
We always say, have everything in a box that could be in a box if possible, so that the move could go smooth and fast. If you want to save time and money, have everything disassembled and organized.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done it all, from small local loads and unloads, to moving large 10 bedroom houses cross country. We have done warehouse work, commercial work, office work, industrial work, staging work, and labor only staffing. We are not shy about work, and we have experienced in every facet of moving
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Seeing someone’s face with a sigh of relief, a look of satisfaction, a surprised and impressed look, a big smile, or even a cry of joy or relief. That’s my favorite part of being a mover.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We provide on the job training. We focus on technique with lifting, wrapping, disassembly, assembly, packing boxes, packing trucks, prepping furniture. We pay very close attention to the small details when it comes to timing and spacing and lifting and proper packing techniques
