DO NOT HIRE THEM. Aside from the broken bed, all the scratched wood furniture , torn corners of leather sofa and loveseat, lost legs for dresser and many more damages.The finale came with the large 3 cushion sofa. It took them 12 hours to complete the moving job. At the 12 hour mark their boss called and said they could no longer work. They had to leave. So they left. We live in a senior apartment bldg. 10 minutes after they left (9:10 P.M.) a resident knocked on the door and said our leather sofa was in the lobby. It was late and my husband (74 years old ) and myself (78) did it in the morning. Here we are struggling to get this big sofa in the elevator. My husband inside the elevator and myself and 2 other senior ladies trying to push it in. We get it in my husband and I go to the 3rd floor, I get out door closes and never opens. I had to call the fire dept. to get him out 45 minutes later they took him to the hospital. He is now okay. Originally they said 6 hours so I paid the$430 to I Ihire helpers. Mooney then wanted to charge me additional $488 which I would not pay due to damages and the sofa incident. Not a reputable company. Do not hire. Very disrespectful to belongings. Do not take care with furniture. Also left 2 seniors in a bad position with the sofa.

Mover's response:

We had three movers to load and unload a 26 ft truck fully load, that worked 12 hrs straight, when you only were charge for 2 movers for the job, because it was so much work! We send a extra person for no charge. They had to disassembly and assembly beds and other things back together and come from about 36 miles to the new apartments then moving stuff to 2 differ apt 2nd and 3rd fl. When we call, she was talking about how good they work was, but now, she think 12 hrs was 2 long If we stopped at 6 hrs she would have called saying the job wasn't complete. So it's was a no win on this job! We ask her to take pictures of the damage and send them. We been wait on proof from Ms. BLOOM for two weeks! But the day of the move she was trying to pay us with a credit card instead of signing the paperwork! We sent our pictures of how we left everything.It very sad for you to lie and not tell the truth about your move when these young men work hard to move all that heavy furniture, not taken a break ,It just sad when someone your age is trying to get over and get a free move, If she had send the pictures showing the damage Our Insurance company would have take care of it. We also offer to come out to see the damage, she refuse. So what would you think? Con Artist BLOOM!
